I'm tempted to send in a resume if Malky goes. I'd put my successes in football simulation games up against those of their new Head of Recruitment any day...bet he's one of those people who play with the big clubs.

    You might even groan.

My television watching in a week is a total of 3.5 hours.

Sadly most of what is on television is dross.

I got to part 3 in the end before falling asleep! I need to remember to find Bob Ross videos before I go to bed in the future.

English footballers account for less than a third of all the minutes played in the Premier League, a State of the Game study for BBC Sport has found. The figure for home country players - 31.8% - is down from 35.25% in 2007-08 and is significantly lower than all other major European leagues according to football statisticians Opta. In La Liga, home of World Cup holders and European champions Spain, Spaniards account for 59% of all minutes played. In Germany's Bundesliga, Germans make up 50%.

The BBC are to be applauded for being the first people ever to spot that there may be a lot of players from other countries in the Premier League and then producing a million different percentages to show this in every way possible. Then bolting on some quotes from Shearer and Redknapp, making a hashtag and drawing no conclusions whatsoever about what this might mean.

Not really. Probably their most boring "study" ever.

(i might be having a miserable morning. not sure)

Deportivo have had 45% of their debt removed by the state and have been told they have ten years to pay off the rest.

    Forza Depor :)

I thought that German clubs vetoed allowing governments writing off debt, especially with the FFP rules coming in.

Yeah but Germany bails the Spanish government out and then Spain in turn bails out its football clubs.
