N'GALA - GOAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3-0 Pompey - playing Rochdale off the park Racon has made a big difference.
Carson did a world class double save in the dying moments of the game to keep a clean sheet. Happy Pompey fans at last.
Good win for your boys, and without Connolly too...I reckon this could be a watershed result when things finally came together, I expect you to start climbing the table and I still back you to make the play offs at least.
Connelly is injured not trained since Wednesday, devera played at right back and done a good solid job. I would like to think guy has learned about not changing a winning team and will only switch a striker for an extra midfielder for Tuesday. Marquis out for Barcham would be my choice.
Good result for you guys. I was thinking about watching the highlights, but they are on way past my bedtime!
Spot on !! Brilliant saves - at last we have a decent goalkeeper behind the defence. Joe Devera was superb at right back, he would have been my man of the match, if it hadn't been for 'Basildon' Bondz two excellent headed goals. Therry Racon was excellent in midfield, so we didn't really miss Simon Ferry, and what a player Jed Wallace is - words escape me........... PUP
I didn't realise what superb headers they were from Bondz N'Gala - the second, a carbon copy of the first - until I watched this video. John Marquis really should have scored in his one-on-one with their keeper though, but let's not get too greedy, eh ?! Onwards and upwards
Well done skates on your win yesterday. 'dale a bit ****, were they? Still, 3 points for both of us this weekend. Jolly good.
Actually, Archers, Rochdale aren't a bad side - we just outplayed them (for once) Were Swansea a bit **** then ? - still, a win is a win........
Actually Rochdale beat us 2-0 at St Mary's in our 2nd season in League 1, which was a bit of a blow at the time. Swansea are a very good side btw.
Little tea-leaf had an absolute blinder against us, as was only to be expected. Danny Fox will be having nightmares about him for weeks I expect.
