To add a bit of debate in this quiet period I thought I'd ask the following questions

    1) How many of our players do you think will start for France in the upcoming fixtures? Last time there was none. Just 2 on the bench

    2) Do you think it will be a good or bad thing for Newcastle if France qualify for the World Cup?

I'd say Cabaye and Debuchy would start in the competetive games with possibly Remoy on the bench.
Mapou won't even make the bench I reckon and I think his last game was around Springtime.

If France qualify I think it will be a good thing as, hopefully the players will play regularly for us and try that little bit harder to get on the plane to the finals.

    1) Hard to say but I'd go Cabaye and Remy without the knowledge of who is playing we elsewhere. I'd be very surprised to see the likes of Mbiwa, Debuchy or Sissoko start in their current form. HBA will need to buck his ideas up if he wants to get to the world cup
    2) Obviously its not a good thing if they qualify and take a load of our players. Clearly it does not help in the season that follows. Reality is though, if you are a top player you're likely to be involved in the world cup wherever you're from.

    1) Cabaye and Debuchy. I don't think French coaches even care how players play in their respective leagues. Zey jus gut dwunk en ze wiiiine end wwwite ze team-**** wiz zer pizz...

    2) If I'm Mike Ashley, then I'd see it as a good thing. More opportunity on the world stage to sell assets for a tidy profit. If I'm me, I'm sad, because I know people will see how ****e they are and bid more realistic amounts, meaning we have even less money to spend on incoming knock-offs.

Sagna should be the starter over Debuchy for sure. The only reason Debuchy started in the Euros is Sagna was out with a long term injury.
