Loan him, but after he's just scored 4 goals, alright against Rotherham reserves, maybe give him a run out from the bench. Maybe SB has said something to him & he's listened.

As a regular watcher of Serie A I posted multiple times on the Sunlan board warning them off him when they were linked. He's an absolute disaster, a total ****er of a man who completely shattered team spirit at Roma to such an extent that he had to be smuggled out of the first day of pre-season training in the boot of a car this summer as the Ultras descended on the training complex intent on beating the living **** out of him.

Since he's left Roma have won 8 from 8, scoring 20 and conceding 1.

Keep him and more to the point, play him! I admire his attitude and desire to play and I still don't think he's been given a long enough go at it.

A regular run of starts. Which he just won't get here now we're in the premier league. He should ask to go out on loan for a month or two in the championship or league one to prove he can toughen up to the physicality if he's that serious about getting in the team.

If he does well and doesn't get shoved around anymore, I think he'll give Brucey a headache. After all he is a very talented player, he's just too soft and obviously lacking confidence without regular games.

Sounds like somebody else we have who IS getting regular starts. I would say Nick's confidence is good at the moment. He may have scored against ****ty teams, but scoring is scoring and no one else really is scoring, especially from open play

Im afraid he as had enough time here to make the grade and he hasn't done that. Total waste of money and he will be on a decent wage. He as scored the odd goal but is simply not hard or fast enough and all this rubbish about been given a chance well the time he as been given both in training and on the pitch as been plenty enough to judge him. I really wanted him to make it and he comes over as a decent bloke but from the very first time i so him play i wasn't impressed for the type of money we paid for him. One thing i will say his heading as improved but overall as a forward if you cannot show something in the Championship then you are not going to make it in the premiership. Sorry i sound a bit harsh but in some ways i think he will have been given a very good contract which he will properly never get again. Please prove us doubters wrong Nick but i am not optimistic

I think we should put him on Trial to see he is the real Nick Proschwitz or some witchcraft induced Voodoo twin. If he sinks and drowns we know he is genuine. If he floats we burn him at the stake.

Enough time??? Danny Graham has had nearly the same amount of 1st team playing time in minutes as Prozzy. Simpson got plenty of time last season and only scored 6 if I remember rightly. Nick was thrown on for about 8 matches for the last 9/10 mins last season. How is that enough time to settle in and show what you can do?

I think that Steve Bruce will give Big Nick 2 starts soon. The obvious game being the coc match @ Spurs and then the Sunderland home game on the saturday(as Danny Graham being on loan cannot play in it). 2 games against different styles and talent levels. Plus a couple of 20mins cameo's @ Everton and Spurs in the PL. City reserves have a home game on tuesday 15th against Mansfield for Nick to get some more practice in finding the net.

In the words of Adam and the Ants """Stand and deliver"" Big Nick. <ok>

He comes across as a lazy ponce to me. Doesn't like the work, doesn't see why he should do the work, but also doesn't see why he should be dropped.

He might have the attributes in terms of physicality and ability, but we'll never know 'cos he doesn't like getting his hands dirty and doesn't see why he should.

Not sure that if the penny hasn't dropped with him by now, that it ever will. Time to cut losses if we can.

It's a bit confusing because you see his words in the Press where he says he had offers to leave but decided to stay to "fight for his place" as he's "come here to play Premier League football, and that's what he's going to do" but he doesn't seem to be 'fighting' at all.

In the Huddersfield game, he looked average at best. He took his chance well, but other than that, he just went with the flow of the game, not putting himself out of his own way for the ball or anything. He also missed an absolute sitter where the Keeper put it on a plate for him.

I have always said to give him time, but my patience with him is running out fast.

    Precisely.

If his words are worth anything, then it would be nice to see him slog his guts on the pitch for once and create his own good fortune, rather than just waiting and coming across as slightly irritated.
