Well I go to every game, but I still get more excited for the games against big opposition as it is a chance to prove how far we have come as a club. Beating United or Liverpool would definitely feel more impressive than West Ham.
Oh dear God, what have you said? SuitedSilly**** won't like that comment one bit, wait for it..........**** off plastic.
Really, beating a team that we wouldn't be expected to doesn't give you more of a buzz than beating a team that we might be expected to? I can't comprehend that! Yes I want City to win every game and get a buzz everytime we do but I get a bigger kick out of us beating a team that everyone thinks we are going to lose to.
Couldn't give a flying **** whether its Oxford or Manure that we beat, so longs as we win I'm happy and couldn't give a toss who the oppo is
Honestly embarrassed at times. ****ing OAP's turning into keyboard warriors giving it large to some kid. Bravo
To the idiots who think it doesn't matter who we play, what kind of crap is that? When we got promoted to the Premier League, were you happy? Were you excited to be in the Premier League? No? Or yes. And if yes, what was the reason? If the opposition doesn't matter, then getting into the Premier League brings no joy. Or, perhaps, does being in a better league, playing better teams, and beating better teams, perhaps bring greater satisfaction? It's like supporting a boxer who beats up on the skinny-ass white kid and carrying on like he's a world champ, and then when he knocks out someone bigger than him, saying you take no more enjoyment out of that, when there is FAR more reason to take enjoyment, because he's winning against the odds, he's taking on people who are actually a challenge, and winning! Or do you all go to the Reserves, League Cup, FA Cup, FA Youth Cup, etc. matches and cheer those teams on just as much as the first team, because they're all teams representing the club, and as you say 'the opposition doesn't matter'?
nah, don't worry we all have to start somewhere. you're right about the miseries on here tho' they're only jealous that you're in the sun, while here in UK............. winter is starting to set in!
I think what people are suggesting is that too many people only become "fans" when we play the big clubs & wouldn't dream of buying a ticket when we aren't playing one of those teams
