My twitter exploded last night of pleas for SOD's head, Many wanted him out and not very many wanted to keep him in....

Me, Im still looking at the wider picture, I admit I thought the season would of been better than what it is and that we would of a) Won a game, B) be mid table at least. It hasn't gone to plan but if you look at the losses of the teams around us, We clearly shouldn't be there, Then you look at the draws and its obvious to see we are hard to beat but even harder to be victorious. Then there is the wins, The only team in the division without one now. This is clearly looking bad and I can completely understand why people want a new manager but I think, They think that if we sack SOD then get someone in that it will turn all our fortunes around (It's worked since Johnson, Hasn't it!....Not) We need to be patient I'm not going to bore people with the transition talk but people need to remember that it is a transition, So therefore it isn't going to work over 2 months...

Still though, Above is the poll. Do you want SOD in or do you want him to SOD off...

I'm frustrated and angry about our current plight but we are missing the fact that the players shoulder a huge amount of the responsibility with their lackluster performances and schoolgirl defending. SOD is a manager who will bring us stability and some measure of success and we would be foolish to not give him at least a full season. If the unthinkable did happen and we ended up in the basement with the Blue Boys, then that would be grounds for dismissal.

imagine all your wishes should we win the next 2 mid table and won games......not where I expected to be but we are not stranded and already a couple of the early birds are beginning to buckle

He has had enough time, although I did say that if he can win the next 4 on another thread, but I fear it will be more excuses and shifting the blame elsewhere
Should have saved us from relegation last year and failed
Given the size of the club he should have been capable of assembling a competitive team this season but has failed
Is boring, unemotional, doesn't seem to have a plan B, and if JET is solely plan a we are in desperate trouble. Also doesn't engage with supporters

He talks transition, but our transition appears to be from medium sized club to minnow in 2 seasons and in that respect he's doing a grand job

Just seen this on the EP site :

“Forest fan here. Just keeping tabs on our old manager Sean. I did warn you guys that his reputation was built on two mid table Championship finishes with Donny Rovers. He did have a few players in their prime at the time Hayter, Sharpe, Coppinger and Neil Sullivan all excellent Championship players.
The football last season at Forest was dire in the extreme under Sean's stewardship. After one home defeat when the team played like a bunch of headless Chickens, Sean, in one of his long drawn out after match interviews described the performance as Terrific! It wasn't, and he must have been the only person in the stadium that thought so.
Sean was sacked after we thrashed Leeds 4-2 on Boxing Day.
What people outside the club may not know is that in the changing room after the previous match at Watford, there was a major disagreement among the players and coaching staff.
The players complaint was that they did not know what they were supposed to be doing.
And that the tactics were too complicated to understand! Sean then incredibly ASK the players were they wanted to play in the next match (Leeds) and played them there!
Good luck for the rest of the season, you need it.”

    We really have had it.

I say give him this season at least, I wasn't inspired by his interviews but I'm not supposed to be am I? If it works great but I don't see anyone that can turn us into table toppers this season so if he escapes relegation then it's ok but I could well change my mind in a month or two.

The only good thing I see at the moment is the last team we beat was the blue lot so they must really piss poor at a totally different level.

I said on another thread another 10 games, if a manager with his pedigree (according to some) cannot inspire his players, in this division, to do a lot better than they are doing at the moment, there's is only one outcome for me, his record up till now is dire, it is worse than any of our last four managers, so like i said, 10 games, big improvement or it could be bye bye SoD

Players are a joke , i appreciate it his team but they have to be held responcible for their actions, not good enough at present.

Unless SOD turns in around in the next five games something has to give.

Looks like most voting need another 3 or 4 games until they see the light that things will gradually get worse and worse and worse under this man....

Red Robin Your thoughts in July.!

"You have more faith than a lot of our fans, however i do think the wheel is turning regards the doubters. The feel good factor will hopefully return very quickly.
I agree with you top two has to be the aim.SOD is the right man to lead us back up to the championship.we are very lucky to have such a highly thought of mananger by rival fans and the footballing world"

Would you be on the verge of changing the above views now??
