That's what I meant by 'few', without the free travel I think we'd be lucky to get a couple of hundred. Around 500-600 won't look too bad.
Which fans? The 500 that would have travelled or the tens of thousands that will now get to see the game on TV?
I bet there would have been more going to that match if it was a 3pm Saturday Kick Off. Especially, with free travel.
I think we'd have taken 1,500 if it had remained at 3.00 pm Saturday. There were a fair few I know looking at a ground tick on this one, including me.
I agree with you but i bet far more Hull City fans watch it now its on Sky even if they watch it at home. So you could say they've done it for the fans..... However Skys attempts to kill support at grounds continue. I used to remember looking forward to watching football on TV, but now its on all the time and its just to much.
Just noticed that both our home games against Stoke and Man Utd are on Sky, good to see us featuring a bit more, would prefer it to be away though.
I've got my prayer mat out that the home game with Chelsea gets moved by Sky to the Sunday or Monday 'cos I can't make the Saturday (11th Jan)
With one game against Chelsea already televised and with four of our December games now televised, I'm afraid it's a very long shot.
Yes I agree that under the circumstances it is a long shot but that weekend there aren't any really 'tasty' or 'big' games on so still got my fingers crossed.
