...as one of a panel discussion, flogging his book, expect self deprecatory anecdotes.

This is one of those programmes where they get very diverse people together, and expect them to listen to each other and comment a bit. Hope H understands the format.

Good man, passed the first hurdle.

Panel is H, a woman aerobatic pilot, Alexander Armstrong and someone else (its Wilbur Smith) Presumably all have books out or a new show or something.

Harold's turn. Kicking off with his legal issues. Now on to his working class roots, taking part time jobs while at West Ham. Footy or the docks his only options. Bobby Moore.......(I'm practising to be a court stenographer)......focus on the old days, tough old physio's......views on modern players.

And thats it from H. No one else asked to ask him anything.

I read his 'bit story' in the DM about his treatment from the people of Portsmouth, after he was sacked from Pompey ...................... unbelievable, to say the least.

2 sides to every story Aussie. I thought he walked from Pompey (twice) rather than being sacked, but I'm probably wrong.

Wait til you see our treatment of Hughes if he ever comes back. It will be nothing to be proud of.

For those of you who work in the City - Harry is having a book signing at Waterstones Leadenhall Market at lunchtime tomorrow. Not a lot of use to you Aussie admittedly, but I might take a stroll down and get a book signed if the queue is not too long

Nice one. Could be a good xmas present for my Dad.

I'll also use it as a chance to let him know let him know what position Faurlin should play, and that he'd be mad to not have Remy back (can't believe that is all the grievances that I have at the moment... maybe I should just say well done keep it up)

He's just been on Simon Mayo's show on Radio 2.

Gets about a bit for a bloke with a duff leg. (Either that or he has been sitting in the BBC studios all day.)

He was on Talksport with Colin Murray this morning, it really was a great interview that went on for well over an hour. Some of the stories he came out with were hilarious such as his dog's bank account which was a press story, his jury had to be changed after one of them was discovered to be a 6ft 6in bloke who had worked for Spurs called Peter Crouch! And the story of Paul Merson's £30,000 in an envelope that ended up sliding down the inside leg of Harry's tracksuit at their match at Millwall. Top drawer stuff...

That is very strong alright. However, I do remember the day he signed for Saints, Johnny Giles saying on the radio that he doesn't know what he's letting himself in for. In that sense he was quite naive. How could a Pompey manager not know how a switch to Southampton would go down?

Still, people that take football that seriously are mentally ill in my opinion.
