    Eye up...

Paul Green has been called up into the Republic of Ireland squad <yikes>

Ross Killock has said he is open to a loan move to gain some first team experience

9 months on from GFH taking over, what changes have we noticed, good, bad and ugly???

Morning Elland and all. Green being called up should impress John Giles, one of our pundits on local tv. He hates him, reckons he's useless and is never shay at having a go at him. Despite that, he got man of the match recently despite hardly touching the ball. Says as much about our national team as it does about green.
As for gfh, a little done, tons more to do. Their one stroke of luck was coming after the most useless bastard owner imaginable. Anything they do can be made look positive after him. Think their honeymoon is well and truly nearing an end though

Morning all ... on Green, Eire says it well, MoM for Ireland? Blimey!!

    GFH
    - good ... getting rid of Bates and his cronies (e.g. Fry, Postman); not lining their pockets; backing the manager as much as they can (e.g. seeing off 'Boro)

    - bad ... not getting enough investment in quickly, although they have a long term plan (let's face it, if we don't get promotion next season as a minimum this moves to the ugly drawer)

    - ugly ... entertaining GC from LUST, WTF?

    Morning all<ok>

My love for GFH is well and truly……..oh what the hell, I have never loved them and I still don’t<ok>
So what have GFH done of any significant? Well, not much to be honest. They have changed a few things and moved a few things around in the club. But the club has stood at a status quad since they took over. And I’m sorry to say that I can’t see them being able to take us forward at all.
The only notable change they have made is to the official Leeds webpage and it is bloody awful<ok>
Other than that I hope we will start to win some games again :)
Oh and LUST to buy some shares in Leeds, hell noooooooo!!!!!!!

Sorry Eire about your national team you shouldn't have to suffer it. Talking about suffering you Irish lads get to cry twice due to our team. :emoticon-0106-cryin

I have a prediction which I think is going to come true. Everything coming out of the club in recent days revolves around bringing players in, bringing the right players in, improving what we have, GFH backing the boss etc, etc, etc. Then the talk coming from ER, the YEP, TA and Redfearn, BMD and young players is all about the kids stepping up and being given a chance. Killock obviously getting frustrated so wants to go out on loan because he's not been asked to step up into the main squad. I suspect that BMD is hoping the kids can stop the rot, simply because the players he wants to bring in are not available or he can't afford them.

I know Green gets his fair share of stick and he probably deserves it(although he's not the main reason why the Whites are stuttering), but I'm more peeed off with the inclusion of D(I'm not turning up if you don't play me) Gibson and that scumbag Stokes.

Regarding GHF, I don't care what they've done since Bates(another name I'm sick of hearing) it's like listening to the Irish goverment still blaming F.F for the countries problems. I just want to see the playing side of things improve.

    Morning all
Quite frankly I'm sick of reading all the anti GFH crap, they have hardly put a foot wrong yet. Oh the haven't spent millions on the squad........boo hoo. They have kept us from going under yet again or is that what some fans want, more to moan about. They are being made the scapegoat for poor results which are really down to Brian's constant changing of the team and average signings.
Do people even remember Bates pissed all our income away from the season tickets and catering contracts. We can not just keep signing players without getting rid of some as the wage bill would cripple us.
This is no quick fix and fans need to give them time, the finances will get sorted eventually and GFH will give Brian money to spend. And Norway as for having a dig at Lust, at least they get of their arses and try to do positive things for the club and not come on forums sniping.
    Rant over.

    Morning all -

Good - Got rid of Bates
Bad - Originally they were said to be here for 3 years, now they have a long term plan. How long is a piece of string?
Ugly - Too much spin and too much talk

Not so sure on the Stokes thing shaks. I dont get too fussed about off field stuff with players, loads of em are scumbags and weve had a few. He is probably playing best stuff of his career and Id far rather see him get a go Friday than the likes of Kevin Doyle who has chosen to continue lining his pockets in League 1 rather than take a pay cut and move. As for ff,we wont go there

With all the talk around our kids making the first team squad, and should we play them or send them out on loan etc. I have just read a good article on NewsNow about so-called superstar kids who never live up to expectations. The following was about our 2 kids who went to Chelsea and made Bates another £5m:

    Michael Woods and Tom Taiwo

The Leeds Academy duo were poached by Chelsea in 2006 with the Blues eventually forced to pay £5million in compensation.

Leeds chairman at the time Ken Bates was furious when Chelsea offered £200,000, but slightly more content when Chelsea were forced to up their offering and he will have been even more happy to see the highly-rated duo disappear into the abyss, with £5million in the bank.

Midfielder Taiwo is currently at Hibs, while fellow midfielder Woods is plying his trade for non-league Harrogate Town. They are both in a world away from what could have been.

The 23-year-old duo might well have been badly advised by money-grabbing agents because the pair were on the verge of the Leeds first team before they decided to chase the money in the capital.

Woods made his debut for Chelsea in 2007 but in another four years, until he was released in 2011, he only ever made one other senior appearance and his impact at the Bridge was far from what had been expected of the player who represented England from Under-16 to Under-20 levels.

Pudsey-born playmaker Taiwo was also acknowledged as a star in the making, but he failed to make the grade at Chelsea and did not appear for the first team in his four-year spell - another promising career down the drain.

It's not just stokes off field activities or his family's indiscretions, it's his lack of respect for his country and his lack of professional behavior at some of the clubs he's played for. I don't rate him, he plays in a ****ty one club league and I certainly won't watch the games if he's playing.

See your point but he is playing champions league football while a lot of our squad are plying their trade in the championship. Met Delaney a year ago and he was singing Darren O'Deas praises when he saw my Leeds jacket. Shows how much the fai guys know about football

I watched the Partick Thistle v Hibs game Monday night (only because I had Hibs in an accumulator) - the standard of play was mid-table League 2 at best - How do Celtic struggle to beat some of these teams and then run Barcelona close?

Yeah and Delaney is a scum supporter...hope you had a shower afterwards(not with Delaney)...

Celtic are guaranteed champions league football every year. They don't even have to play 100% every week to win the title. Anyway Eire that's just my opinion.

GFH have done a lot of good stuff like closing all the money pissing holes and getting rid of the cancer.

Shame I have more money than them though
