    You say it like it's personally coming out of our pockets. If the club want to spend that much on a player, they're well within their rights to do so.

    And by the way, this 20 million doesn't mean we haven't got another 20m for elsewhere.

    Well sorry if I sounded like that but I am just amazed that your club would spend that much money on a player who isn't even good enough to play for England at senior level.

    I'm closing this thread as its obviously a wum,and yet another wum ''pretending'' to be a Liverpool fan.I personally back Kenny's judgement.If Kenny feels this lad has potential and he's signing him on instructions given to him by his bosses,then its good enough for me.Arabian Expat has on more than one occasion,had a go at Liverpool for no particular reason,and levelled numerous put-downs.I will only close it when I get approval from some of my fellow Liverpool fans however.I've just re-opened it.I will give it a few moments to seek others advice as I'm unsure on whether it should remain open.

    I think some fans get to carried away with exotic oversee,s players,kenny and the owners are trying grow this team with young british players,its says to me kenny wants that title in the next couple of years.

    his buying tactics resemble his blackburn stint in charge.

    Thats better, Needed cheering up today.
    It would be hard to argue £5m is about right for Henderson. A very average premiership player. Not sure what he really brings to the table. Just runs around a lot when I've seen him.
    It seems cost is immaterial as soon as you've identified a target. Hope the board coming blindly knocking on Tottenhams door and we can have you over too.
