Morning all. It's been snowing on the mountains here. Very unseasonal. Normally it wouldn't be a problem but I have a friend on the West Coast who has a hospital appointment in Christchurch, today. she may not be able to make it, which will cause difficulties for her. Still, there should be some good end of season skiing!
my matrs from Melbourne are there as we speak. the photos on Facebook are stunning. i hope your friend is ok.

Give me snow over wind any day, especially if its the sort of wind that blusters with rain a lot, prefer a good solid blow with or without rain.
Thanks for the Caramel latte Ak ... certainly in need of some caffeine this morning! ... Stella Stefánsdóttir sounds like quite a girl... my maternal grandmother had seven children, but double that, wow!
Thanks for the caramel latte Ak, are you sure you're not related? One of the questions on QI this week was about a new phone app that tells you if you are related to your partner because with such a small population, there is a problem with inbreeding! As a Norfolk lad I would probably feel at home there!
Good day all, been into the garage this morning to have a quick change of brake pads. During this years Tour de France one of the sponsors ran a competition to win a rather super velo, worth about â¬240 if you had your car serviced with them. Beaming garage owner came out to say that I am one of the lucky winners. Soon wiped the smile off his face when I told him that with my super bike I probably wouldn't need the car anymore.
Afternoon all from a bright & sunny West West London. Another mad day and not stopped since 07.00 Thanks for the frothy AK
