i think any everton fan on an lfc board got called lettuce when they turned up, he was that prolific. couldn't tell you anything else as i never left the lfc baord so don't think we ever talked on 606.
Of course I remember all the conspirators of mischief... we had a good time on the old 606 seeing how far we could cross the line... There is no controversy, no wums, no bizarre mods to rebel against here... I miss misbehaving... lol. He was from the Arsenal board... I remember towards the end he slipped up and people figured out who he was... of course don't remember his real alias now but his "Dave Pundit" column was amazing. I think we all started out think lettuce was a wum, and he was... but I think we figured out he was more like us towards the end... sort of rebelling against the absurdity of the modrrating of old 606... and how sensitive so many people were... he was doing it more for humor than to really cause anyone any upset. Turned out to be a pretty decent bloke. "Ticky NO!" Was always the genius to me. His posts were always so subtle and not really offensive to anyone but always included deliberate slight factual errors that would wind so many people up and cause so many people to respond and argue. I've never known anyone to be so successful at baiting as him... he did it time and time again and his ability to wind people in... even when people knew what he was all about was incredible. I tried... but I never could reel people in the way he did
you know this whole thing is a bit dangerous.... i could comment about how i can google someone's name and go back on 606 cos its not actually deleted just closed and find their user name and oh i dunno find that actually they were banned of 606 but i really ought not to. Why? well this is not 606 and so a few fights and whatever later means it doesn't matter. Ever had someone make up a fake profile with your name guys? I did once but I also found an article on 606 just now that someone on here commented on but when you clickthe name you find they changed their profile name some something else at some point and got banned. ancient history though.... I really shouldn't have looked but i'm just too plain nosey i guess.
Hey milk remember the one star competition.. write an article so bad that you got lots of one stars and we ran a cup comp. My trick was really really bad spelling on boards and i got like 18 one stars but got beat still. I also figured it out... Tobes did you by any change change your profile name on the last day of old 606 to Kopites are gobshites and get banned just because? Did you forget that one?

He was okay-ish until you backed him into a corner then he was vicious and out came the mur-----s comments, wall-pushers etc etc. He also made some disgusting comments one day that got the whole Liverpool members on there at the time so incensed and he was banned - until his next incarnation probably the next day!
They even let me off that one ffs! I got a 2 days suspension once for being part of an invasion of the wrestling board, exposing metro for being a fan

Nope, it was only my personal profile that was removed, as some poor sensitive soul complained about it - as it said under the "my favourite game" section - Everton 4 - The RS - 4. I'd had since it started & yet some knob thought it needed to be pulled, so I left it unchanged & it remained hidden.
