I think it's interesting when things get broken down like that. It's just breaking down all the major factors and looking at what position we are in financially. It's not exactly painting a totally rosey picture either. Merely that we seem to have made a bit of headway. Yes we could probably have all come to a similar conclusion with regards to a rough January budget without a detailed analysis. So what? Nothing wrong with adding some more information to the debate eh.
if i may offer one comment. i work for a major multinational and all companies pulls stunts in financial reporting. We ran up a huge backlog last year. stocking out all over the place then miraculously found our partner was sitting on exactly enough FGI that they never used to hold to clear it right after out end of year. 18 weeks of backlogged vanished over night. You tell me...... If anyone should take anything out of this Projection and the OP says exactly what it is it is that he goes though some (not all) of the line by line elements of the typical balance sheet and shows where the things we see the club striving to do sit and affect things. Doing a projection and giving an answer predicting lfc to be in profit in 2013/14 depending on wages is probably a more catchign way of explaining ti rather than taking a published one and breaking it down line by line. especially with the trash we have had on our accounts like payoffs of 9mil to clear kennys staff or 3mi lto wave bye bye to purslow's white elepahnt joe cole.

Bit harsh that Jimmy. We all know that Tobes as his ways, hence my very early comment at #8 but there is no need for personal attacks like that IMO. Tobes doesn't hurt anyone, he's just a stubborn bitter
