Tobes, get real and face the truth for once in your miserable Blue existence! Even when you try very hard you just cannot bring yourself to say one thing positive about LFC without the bile rising in your throat. That's why we can call you bitter - even for a Bitter you are more bitter than most!

Now let's get down to facts shall we. My comments upon estimates and guestimates was directed at YOU and not at anything that the OP wrote. So go away lad and palm your own face!

You're too quick to judge others by your own puerile standards David.

My comments about that piece would have been the same if it was written about any club - including my own - as it's a work of complete fiction, which uses previous fiction as it's starting point.

As for portraying LFC in a positive light, it merely concludes that you'll be the TV revenue increase better off than you were last year i.e. the same as every other PL club. Earth shattering I'm sure.

As for your last sentence, I know it was aimed at me <doh> & I agreed, but I'd never use forecasts to try & cobble together a full set of future accounts, AS THAT WOULD BE ****ING STUPID - let it permeate, before tapping again. <laugh>

I love it when Dave rips Tobes haha.

As I mentioned earlier Tobes - you completely dismissed this article because of reasons you outlined earlier. Therefore I cannot see how you can comment and contribute any further to this thread so keep quiet and leave. <ok>

You don't have a choice I'm afraid. The article is based on estimates. You don't believe in estimates therefore rendered the article useless. You have stated this many times in this thread. Why/how else can you contribute?

Truth is, you can't. Therefore, I conclude that you are a buffoon (along with the rest of your joke club and it's supporters) with only the intention of wumming (although you pretend that you're not).

It's not a full set of accounts and isn't pretending to be...ya meff <doh>

It's a decent and fair analysis of where we're at (roughly) and where we're heading. Unlike you blues us Reds can obviously tell the difference between an article quite clearly written as projections and probabilities and an article that's complete bull. If you want a fact here is a good one...Everton have a trophy cabinet that's emptier than Redknapp's BetFred account.

Meff? come on Billy lad, you can do better than that ffs. Quegg or something more contemporary surely.....

Oh & he's tried to put together a full front page btw, including other costs & exceptional items ffs, but anyway I've already laboured the point.

I'm not taking lessons on contemporary from you you old tart <laugh>

I had to laugh at the bit you put before about how you would say the same if it was written about any other club. Pull the other one. Who were you trying to convince with that line, yourself or us?

As it happens I found the bits about FFP and the costs of not being in Europe pretty informative. Anyone with half a brain knows a discussion based on projections and certain assumptions is open to debate but there isn't a single figure in that whole piece that looks wildly innacurate to me. If I was a gambling man (or knew a good potman from Newmarket) I'd bet those figures aren't a million miles off.

This is extremely naive of you.

Do you have any idea what limited companies get up to when preparing their accounts?

I've worked for several and have been embarrassed on several occasions to have to put my name to a piece of paper known to contain elements of total fabrication.
Dodgy accruals, deferring expenses, bringing income forward from future periods.

There are more tricks in this book than I dare mention on a public message board

Hopefully not. He doesn't believe in the validity of the article so he has nothing more to say.
