Yet another idiot who's bought into the media-fuelled hype that Rodgers somehow created our philosophy. Martinez was the man, but even he built on the solid foundations left by Flynn and Jacket. Rodgers tinkered a little after Sousa left and he made us a more attack minded outfit. His signing of Sinclair was inspired. But at that point he'd inherited a team that knew how to play pass and move. His stints at Reading & Watford weren't exactly stellar were they?

As much as I'm always grateful to Rodgers for getting us up if ever there was a case of right place right time for anyone then his period with us was it.

Well said KJ <ok>

Im glad he is doing well up at Liverpool but lets be honest he left at just the right time for us, we had a major up grade but good luck to rodgers ,Nice fellow when he aint blading us in the back <ok>

I didn't expect this to turn into a debate about who our best manager, I suppose we've got a clueless scouser to thank for that <doh>
I just thought that it was interesting that Harry thought that buying into our philosophy was the way forward for England, and wanted our most recent manager at the time to help him to carry it forward.
As Yankee pointed out, it couldn't have gone far wrong with England's many average players

Only pointing out what Harry Redknapp said. I would hazard a guess that he knows a little more about football than you do... <whistle>

I would expect so with him being a manager and all that, I was just confused is it the Swansea way or the Brendan way that arry was after, as stated before "it was the Swansea way before the Rodgers way" is it now the laudraup way or still the Swansea way?

It's always the Swansea way. This is difficult for you isn't it?

Ok so why didn't Harry want the Swansea squad to train with England and show them how it's done properly with this all new super brand of football? Why ask Rodgers directly? If its the Swansea way and not the Rodgers way?

You've clearly just graduated with a degree in Annoyance (majoring in Sarcasm) from the School of Irritating Twats. Now go and get a job. :)
