It is a bit worrying, but we can't deny him the right to play for his country. I'm sure it means a lot to him and he deserves it.
Cant deny him playing for his country etc but yes I am very worried about him getting injured. He's a key player for us!
Liverpool must not give Roy reason to complain after Sturridge missed the last two games. Hodgson has the responsibility of looking after our players and others.
**** Roy, Sturridge missed those pointless games, and more importantly our pre-season, because of injury sustained playing for England.
look here's some thoughts. 1. gerrard is made of glass and he's not coming back hurt... tired yes but not hurt. 2. Sturridge can look after himself. Roy needs him so if sturridge says 2i'm sitting this session out asshole" Roy won't say anything back. all this requires is experience. 3. roy is wringing his hands in despair despite being top of the group as all he can see is impending doom. Not feeling good about that game, think mainly for the tonking we gave them last year and them having their tails up recently.
