He did that a few times in the West Ham game. Watching him play is worth the admission fee alone. Brilliant midfielder with vision and a killer pass.

Our tactical astonished me yesterday, in open play we were very cautious and careful not to commit and open ourselves to Villas favoured counter attack.

Yet we get a set piece, everyone in the box, 1 man back and we nearly got caught in the break numerous times. If we conceded that way we'd have deserved it leaving one man to cover against Agbonlagor, Kozak and Weimann all on his own.

Very lucky with that counter Agbonlagor hit just wide, he had all the time and space in the world with 2 open team mates in our box to pass to. Good job he snatched at it.

I think you're making it sound like a much easier chance than it was. He was cut his run and change direction to get onto the ball, facing away from goal and had to wrap his foot around it. Yes it was a good chance, but it wasn't a sitter like you're implying.

It could have been a sitter, had they took advantage of all the free time and space we offered them, but they didn't and Agbonlahor was unlucky with a very difficult shot that he took very well, just slightly wide. He had time to control it, do a few keepy uppies, pass it round with whoever else was in the box with him, then get down on hands and knees and roll the ball into the goal with his nose.
