Well if you can prove in previous years you had a negative effect (if you knew you should had stopped watching for the benefit of everyone else) and this year its positive, then I'm sure they would pay your wages yes <ok>

Camped as well, but it was pre-booked so no problem. Flew there and back and hired a car for the first couple of days.
We went to the Eagle's Nest and the remains of Hitler's bunker. Walked around Munich a bit, went to the Hofbrauhaus there and spent the rest of the time in the festival.
I really wanted to go to Neuscwhanstein and Lindenhof but there wasn't enough time. Maybe next time.
Spent the whole of the last full day in the Hofbrau Festzelt. Did you go there? On Wednesdays they have an oompah band on during the day and in the evening they transform into a pop/rock band. I was steaming by then, though.
I've no idea how much I drank.

Sounds wicked mate. I didn't go/not aware of the Hofbrau Festzelt. We went in the main building where everyone was eating and had a beer as well as also wondering around Munich.

Funny that you wanted to visit the castle - because I would of much rather visited the Berktesgarten!

Maybe next time. Might get a flight next time too as it was a **** load of driving.

You're the anti-matter version of Bluff.

I hate international breaks, even if they do give us more time to get our Ford repaired.
I'm always lost on a footie-free weekend and have to do something useful instead.

playing newkie that early night be a blessing. It forces us to go the night before and prepare well. it also stops the newkie fans getting a head of steam.

it does say it all about mid season internationals when they are called "breaks" doesn't it...does anyone actually want them?

    The bean counters want them.

Can't imagine anything stopping the Nuke fans getting up a head of steam- they'll have started several days before the game.

I guess you are right about that.... they do like it but god knows what team will turn up. an early goal in my mind is vital for both sides.
