Could have been a penalty at the end for Wbrom. Koscielny no attempt to play the ball, just jumps into the player and knocks him off. Lucky.

    Spuds bottled it as usual.

    Good weekend for us.

Happy with that only arsenal losing would have been better. A good weekend for us taking advantage of the rivals slip ups

It's funny seeing Spurs get stuffed. But results like that come with a backlash. Utd did it after the 6-1. Arsenal since their first game.

I'll take credit by putting Vertonghen in my FF team this week <ok>

Good results for u today though and have to hope International games are kind to us and we can get Coutinho & possibly Johnson back for the next game.

Excellent set of results for us today and will make MOTD2 good as well.

If Anelka didn't have a stinker then Arsenal would have lost too.

impressed by what Steve Clark is doing with the baggies. played good football and it took a deflected shot for them to concede.
    unlucky not to win imo.

Not sure. Arsenal and United had games to bounce back in straight away. All the Spurs players will go off to Internationals so AVB won't have time to address the issues.

West Brom did this last year as well, start very well before dropping off a bit.

Malumbu & Yacub look a very good central pairing as well.

Players like Mulumbu are the reason Arsenal's midfield aren't as good as people like to make out. They're lightweight and get knocked off the ball by more physical and aggressive players.

Fantastic ball playing ability and creativity, but they'll struggle against teams who get up close and physical.

Aside from that, Wbrom actually played some good football and counter attacked well.

  17. Just watching Saturdays MOTD. How harsh are the pundits for Evertons goal? Lakaku was through and, if anything, they should be praising him for getting his hand to it at all!

Looks like the Spurs fans aren't overly impressed with Paulinho and Soldado thus far. Just goes to show that so called 'marquee' signings don't always work out how you expect them to. Not for one minute writing either of them players off, just thought it was an interesting observation.

  20. Saldado and Paulinho have both been good, so as Eriksen. What they lack is defenders, something most people could see before the summer!
