and you guys are a nice bunch btw, good luck with future endevours, I believe you are 3rd now .... or 4th. Anyway, it doesnt matter, I am really sad ... but it makes me happy to know others feel some joy. Cheers and hugs.
Not many people would have posted that. I said previously that Saints would give Swansea a tonking, but that was just banter and bravado. In truth, I was slightly nervous of the outcome because Swansea are good enough to beat any team on their day. Today was our day.
Cheers. After the good start and goal, you had us flustered to an extent that I don't think we've seen this year. Didn't think that we were winning that for a long stretch, but we stabilized. Your board seems to be a little on the unhappy side, but your start has been brutal...between the opposition and your foray into Europe, much more would be a big ask. The Bony/Michu partnership hasn't yet clicked, but there's definite promise there; hope to see you guys climbing the table soon, both because I like Swansea and because we still owe you a debt of gratitude for turning over Wigan last year and making our survival campaign a hell of a lot more comfortable!
Not at all. Just don't make a habit out of being pleased that everyone else is pleased, while you're suffering inside.
Well, better than hitting someone who doesnt know better in the face, in Portsmouth. I got to the hospital and had no idea what had happened. My nose was broken, had to dislocated ribs ... and all I ever said was "hello"
Not nice at all. I'm bound to say, that that is still endemic in the football supporting world. Some places you go and you won't see it, either because there's not a culture of it at a particular club, or it is so small that you miss it. But sadly, it's there. It just depends on where you go and if you're unlucky to brush up against these people.
Thanks for your kind words. I feel that Swansea is a team about our level that we should aim to emulate, so felt this was an interesting game beyond the normal three points. We used to be a 'we will score one more than you' type of team, but Mauricio (being an ex-defender) prefers to base our game on a solid defence. This is a new experience for us. Good luck in the Europa.
Not surprised, they eat their young down there, we are the much more civilized side of Hampshire. I like Swansea, good luck to you for the rest of the season.
Thanks for the kind words. You dominated the second half until our 2nd and I thought you may have nicked a point. You are the best footballing side to come here by a country mile- very refreshing to see a team who wants to get on and play cf west sham. Good luck in europa!
I don't think we deserved it really but I'll take it. Last year we dominated only to concede a stupid goal. Anyway, Swansea will come good again, they are far to good a footballing side not to start winning again.
To make up for your defeat I shall give a nice Welsh lady I know very well a really big hug and a kiss. But then I do every night.
Oi leave my wife alone!!! Good game two very evenly matched teams, but you took your chances when they came, pity our lads didn't do that. Anyway "Onwards and Upwards".
I got quite excited when I saw the username as I thought it was Daiswan. He's the only Swansea fan I'd want to take the piss out of.
Swansea are a really good side and I envy their passing style. Really pleasing that we won comfortably.
