They say never change your mind but I have at the last minute and switched from Ruler of The World to Leading Light. You need a low draw, you need a tough horse and today you need to handle soft ground!
All hell let loose here. Orfevre ****ed over well and truly. Brilliant filly. Just a shame Orfevre wasn't allowed to compete.
AWESOME TREVE IN THE ARC! Even if Orfevre and Treve raced off level weights, Treve still would've won! Is she better than 2008 winner Zarkava? Who knows! One of the best Arc winners of all time! Criquette Head has waited 34 years to train another Arc winner, it sure was worth the wait!
Ill have a BOOM! for that. What a performance, had it wrapped up two furlongs out. Winnings going straight onto Moonlight Cloud in the 4.40.
Joking aside that was seriously impressive and a clever ride.I suppose he had no choice but to track wide but avioded a lot of scrimmaging in what was a very rough race off a disappointing slow pace. Deserved winner and well done all at the pay out window.
Nice to see Criquette admit that her prep was a total school!!..go gentle and no whip!...Cecil,Stoute,Gosden,Fanshaw must have taken lessons off this lady..
Treve means truce in french. And I told yous all one of the biggest bets of my life, never doubted her.
ROTW and the Prix Neil form I'll crack the jokes One of the easiest wins and forecasts you will ever see in an Arc, forget the ride on Orfevre, he simply couldnt live with the best filly since Zarkava, and Novellist would have suffered badly aswell.
I was kidding BTW.... Looks like both Treve and Moonlight Cloud will remain unbeaten for the rest of the season, two fillies of the highest calibre. It's tempting for connections to retire Trev but looks like they won't, wonder if she'll race in Britain or the US next season.
