Cracking game, and yes, as predicted our problems are all coming down our left. If anyone wants one, this is a decent stream - not the greatest in terms of picture quality but absolutely no lag - http://nutjob.eu/gurutv1.html
Would bet my house that swansea don't score, just one of those days for swansea and if there is one thing we're great at under pochettino its closing out a game. Not at all worried that Swansea have had the better chances, the second half will be much different and with every minute swansea don't score we will grow stronger. With JWP's set pieces and lambert looking likely could see us getting a second. Lallana was immense. One other point is that schneiderlin seems to have improved his heading, saw him head clear a corner when in the past I though he would shy away from headers a bit.
Vorm isn't too bad himself. Boruc has been a revelation for us, it's true. He had been considered one of the best keepers in the world a few years back, but we got him on a free after the transfer deadline because he is insane. That's the Southampton Way: homegrown kids and foreigners too demented for other clubs that somehow turn into model citizens* upon arrival. *Throwing objects at our fans notwithstanding.
Funny game, we've probably played the better all-round football and been in some fantastic positions without really making the most of it save for Adam's great finish, but Swansea have just persecuted Fox and Davis on our left and have got some very good scoring opportunities out of it that they should have done more with and have overall threatened the goal more, although Artur has been in fine fettle. I fear for us the longer that goes on, a switch of full-backs may be in order to be honest. Need to come out for the second half and take back control of the game and get another, the longer it's 1-0 the more we will shrink back into our own half and the more Swansea will come at us.
I'd definitely bring Chambers on for Fox, and move Clyne to the left. Rather have our question mark facing Routledge in any instance, and I've seen pylons that were more disruptive than Fox.
