Green would have probably saved it, the form he's in.

I think people tend to forget just how big a team we are perceived to be in this division at the moment.
We are the team that everyone wants to get an upset against, and in a division where results are always difficult to predict, this can be a very difficult dogma to work in your favour.
Even looking back at our promotion win, it was built on our terrific start, a start which an awful lot of championship enthusiasts (including many QPR fans!) wouldn't have predicted. Despite what people may think of our campaign that season, after those first 10 games it was secured by getting difficult draws and niggly wins against potential banana skins, because we were no longer an unknown quantity. Cardiff in the second half of that season were a prime example of a team that was apparently playing better football, but although they won few games by 3 or 4 goals, they similarly lost games that they should have won which ultimately cost them promotion.
We haven't played as well to gain our 26 points this time round, but our situation much different to 2010-11, as the pressure is one so much more

So in short, stop moaning and celebrate our turn of fortunes :)

okay i don't think that there is anyone on this site who is not happy at the moment. you either thought we would kill this league and you will be thinking you've nailed it or you thought we would struggle and you are now pleasantly surprise we are now top. So if someone comes on to this site and says "hey do you think we played better when we brought on junior i think he should play every week. its fine to do so. its not being unhappy it just saying we are good but **** we could be ****ing better. Quite normal really.

lets see what happens when we lose it, how we lose and what the effect on the team it has, before pointing fingers at other people on this board because they have a slighty different view. how many people on here are saying they cant wait to see the next joey barton melt down so the can come on here and tell everyone what a ****er they think he is. the hypocrisy on here sometimes is unbelieveable.

if you want us to smash teams 4 nil because you think we can say so, if you think we can keep playing like we are and just beat teams one nil cool again come on here and say so its a forum thats what its bloody there for. just dont say people are ungrateful for wanting more because they are not they just think we can be better.

I have had a good sleep and I now think I understand my own feelings about yesterday.

I think I realised watching yesterday that actually we have it...we have a good good team a team capable of getting us out the championship....BUT it is all too scary! And I am scared it will all go wrong, even though we could do it!

What if we play total football and not press all the time, what if Ned is injured, what if Charlie has a dodgy shoulder, what if we let one in. What if we draw a match...what if we lose a match!!! I am scared that it is all too good...so I say we were passing to much, we didn't have enough shots on goal, we should have played Hoillet from the start.

I am (we are) going to have to let go....Arry DOES seem to know what he is doing...as do the team now. My worrying is not going to alter that...So I am just gonna go with the flow..

In Arry we Trust....Come on u RRRRRRRRRRRs

I think you're spot on Col. I've heard complaints about no 'plan b', but your line up give plan 'b', 'c' and 'd'. Slipping to a 4-4-2 when we are dominating possession and play and need to be more attacking; keeping a more defensive midfield when away to any of the top 7-8 teams and still be able to push on to Austin and your 4-1-4-1 with the wide men. There is a real shape now to the squad, built on a reliable foundation of our defensive five, and we have interchangeability of player/player types (eg Faurlin/Henry).
It's not perfect, but it's bloody good - and the play and results are showing this.

The reality is that while we are all delighted with the results, we are all used to our team chucking it all away. Historically we have usually had attacking teams and therefore it is natural that some of us will be uneasy about an unbeaten run where we ride our luck for a part of each game and then strangle the life out of the opposition. Someone said he would be happy to win every game for the rest of the season by 1-0. I'm not so sure. If we score early and therefore force the opposition to open up, I would be disappointed if we could not score more than one with quick breakaway counter-attacking football. I am naturally pleased with the way it's going but it is not a crime for some to remind others that we do ride our luck, there are long passages where we seem to have no end-product and times when we have been nothing more than efficient. A bit more excitement would be welcome.

I'm as happy as anyone with our points tally, and with the overall performance yesterday. However, I think it is valid to say that we were over-cautious. Redknapp virtually admitted this in his post-match interview. There seems to be a strong sentiment on here that anyone who is the slightest bit critical of any aspect of our current level of performance should shut up and go away. This will not make for good debate.

Wasn't it only a couple of weeks ago some on here were moaning about our lack of goals and terrible goal difference ?
Is +10 (3rd best in the league) good enough now ??

Lets just take each week as it comes and beat the team that us in front of us.

We still lack goals. Twelve from ten is not a great return for a team at the top.

This. We did play well and kept possesion but even Harry conceded that we overdid the negative passing especially in the first half. However, when Hoilett came on we showed our teeth. They also paid him the complement of putting two players on him which gave us more time and space elsewhere. Chevanton looked lively in his short appearance and almost scored with one rasper.

We will only know how good we really are when we play the teams around us. Not being negative but realistic.

A word on Peter Ramage. had a good game and deserved his standing ovation when he went off injured.

I'd just like to say that the next manager after Redknapp needs to be sacked straight away because he's going to lose matches, his team is going to lack goals and he'll probably make some excuses for poor performances sometime in the future. Grrrr! I hate him already. Redknapp's successor out!

Whilst sticking two fingers up to the conformers i loved the first season in the prem. Beating spurs arsenal Liverpool at home. Beating stoke home and away brilliant. Last season was not that bad. Remember the season warnock took over now that was ****ed. Paul hart now that was ****. i am tired of being told i have had nothing to celebrate in the last two years who's being negative now. We have more goals in this team. We can play better we are QUEENS PARK RANGER WE ARE TOP OF THE LEAGUE
