I don't see the point of booing him. He's just too good, he brushes it off and then goes and annihilates the field at the next race.
Surprisingly good race vettel aside. Hulk again brilliant. Lotus give this man the car he deserves. Button made that last stint last an incredibly long time.
The problem with Hulks drive is that some less intelligent fans will come out and whine about him holding people up, when it is clearly up to the drivers behind to make the pass, the fact he covered every single attempt shows just how cool a customer he is. And even when Hamilton (who would have been 2nd if not for an insane strategy decision) passed him, he didn't worry, just passed him back immediately, no fuss.
Well we have to thank Massa for being a douche in turn 3 to allow Hulk near the front. But once again when the pressure is on Hulk gets better and di Resta turns to ****.
Would it be wishful thinking that with his current displays he could be crashing out of F1 (in more ways than one..)
Hulk looks pretty likely to take 10th in the standings from Paul now. The move to Sauber's not seeming so bad all of a sudden.
Was a good race, glad I didn't sleep in. Things to note: Great race by Hulk and driver of the day. Does Sauber have TC? Will the stewards look into Alonso's very frequent off track trips? Bad luck for Webber and Rosberg. FFS somebody in the top 4 please sign Hulk! Game over!
I also found it funny that Paul was still able to blame the car and his team even though it was his fault and that he openly admitted it and the rest of the world already came to that conclusion. Bye bye Paul!
Where are the di Resta quotes? i'd like to see both the one where he blames Bianchi for Q2 qualy and the post-race ones
Incredible drive from Hulkenberg, up there with Vettel, Alonso, Hamilton and Raikkonen in my opinion now, it shouldn't be held against him that he hasn't had the chance to do it in a top car, he's proven he's deserving of one. He was punching well above his weight when he was fending off Alonso, Raikkonen and Webber for sixth, and then he mugged Hamilton at the restart for good measure. Massa had a shocker, how Lotus can even be considering him is a mystery to me. I feel sorry for Grosjean, there have been a few races where he's dominated Raikkonen only to get screwed over in some way. He's driven well this season but hasn't got the results he's deserved. I doubt Pirelli are to blame for Perez's failure, he'd run the tyre to the end of its life and then had a huge lock up, he probably burnt through the tread and damaged the structure of the tyre because it completely lost its shape when the tread came off, they usually retain the shape when the tread comes off like that. Probably another 10 place grid penalty coming up for Webber through no fault of his own, but Sutil's idiocy and the marshals' ineptitude. I can't see much being salvaged from that car after it was left to burn so long and he lost an engine in Singapore too. please log in to view this image Di Resta's blown any chance of getting a better car in the last three races. His hopes were always slim but crashing out of three races in a row will be impossible to come back from given he hadn't set the world alight previously, he's destined to a career in the midfield.
@Forza Your ****ing with me aren't you? He didn't say something so stupid after qualifying... HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HA HA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!
