I think SB made his disapproval as clear as he could without biting the hand with the six figure pay check. There were two things wrong with PB, bad-mouthing his players in public and not knowing his first eleven because he was tactically inept. Cracking Karoke singer though
If this is his motivation to take us as high up the table as he can then I dont care how much he talks about it.
I don't believe I have heard him ever bring it up first, although I haven't heard everything. On the other hand, when is The Benchwarmer Harper going to put Sid James behind him?
Hey Fez we were invited to join a clique... But on topic, I never imagined Steve Bruce as a Hull City manager, but oddly now I cannot imagine us without him.
Got nowt against cliques, it's amusing when they fall out with each other. Don't get too comfy with SB, the owner's silly games will piss him off long before results do.
I think it was a good article and interview, SB from what I see and hear is handling the owners very well. In his position he is quite right to distance himself from this name change situation, and concentrate on building the team he wants. He knows he will not achieve that by getting the Allams backs up.
Agreed - and looking at what Sunderland managers have done since SB left - he must feel a little justified when he says they got rid of him too hastily...
So because successful clubs and businesses don't change their names, one that's been a failure in both respects on a pretty consistent basis shouldn't either?
