Having seen the fans reaction today I think if Mcdermot don't bring some players in,in the next 2 weeks he's going to sack himself.Seen an interview where he said his one regret at reading was not bringing in players sooner,well Brian your doing it again..Our 3 times player of the season last year can't get a game,his 2 money signings can't get a game,and yet a clueless awful striker played yet again.Hunt is worse than Paynter and don't get me started on Green.Derbys MOM today.Both the first 2 goals his fault IMO.
Chesh,yer not wrong,he talks the talk,but we are bottom half material. His signings have been poor,and how do we bring players in the next two weeks? Transfer window shut,and all the best loans allready gone.
Well he ain't got long m8,didn't go Barnsley away last season when the team got lots of abuse,but I've never seen the fans turn as much as they did today.players came over at the end of game and a good 50% were giving them the v's.Mowatt was the only class on the pitch in our colours today.

Agree about Mowatt, only saw him against Shelbourne in a friendly but he was brilliant and got stuck in. The only thing that bugs me is when will his head be turned and some club with money puts a bid in for him. Sorry lads for being negative. I don't mind losing when we give it 110%
Saw some of the Birmingham game earlier, that Chris Burke looked classy. Tricky, pacey winger, exactly what we need, and yet McDermott thought £600,000 was too much So the money was there, he just didn't want to use it. And yet the two players he bought, Murphy and Wootton, one warms the bench for 90 minutes and the other isn't even in the 17. As for Hunt and Smith, they've not improved the squad at all.
Thing is m8,him and club say loans can be made.But we also need to question his judgement,never seen a striker look so unlikely to score as Hunt.

The fact we haven't signed a winger has annoyed me no end. We missed both Burke and Boyd in January and got Haribo (or what ever his name was. I was looking at the strike force before we placed the 1st of the season and McCormack was the only striker that I thought could start we in week out. we missed out on Sharp which was a massive failure in my eyes.
