A good post Dan and I think it's healthy to have differing opinions even if it's negative against the team. Interestingly I think this thread is about fans moaning about fans who moan. So I guess we're all moaning!

What I was originally moaning at (yes I;ve been in Scotland too long) was how quick our fans are to jump on the team/manager/club applying negative energy to the equation even when we're actually performing way better than in the past decade with much better football albeit with the usual "human" fluctuations meaning we cant produce the goods every week or even for 90 minutes so far. Ever since my first game some 30 odd years ago its been the same, supporters seem to enjoy criticising more than praising and yes I'm criticising the supporters here. With the advent of 1881 and the like I hope we get away from this and the majority become "supporters" who support rather than follow, that means adding positive energy to the club when its needed and thats often at times when we're actually not producing the pretty football, the goals or the wins.

    YES!!!!

I use today as an example. I always stand at games and deliberately chose seats towards the back so as not to block peoples view. But today I had a guy behind me who asked me if I was intending to stand all game. I said yes and he mumbled something to their friend and shifted 5 seats to the right. Then I had someone turn up 10mins late and sit right behind me, he then proceeded to tell me to sit down. I then politely pointed out that he had seen me standing yet still chosen that seat and pointed out that there were plenty of other seats he could have chosen. But he wanted to sit in that seat because thats what was on his ticket, so I pointed out it was unreserved seating and he could sit in any of the seats in front of me where he would be able to see very clearly. He then proceeded to whinge and bitch to his friend before eventually moving as well.

Well I have had a big moan tonight, not at the team or the supporters, but at Perform Group. Total shambles today, that was being reported way before kick off. Not just our game, but dozens of them across the country. I hope that all who feel that the company should admit it got it badly wrong and is going to compensate every subscriber , will e-mail them with a few choice thoughts.

I have had a reply from Perform to my rant at them.

"Please accept our apologies for the issues you faced yesterday with the commentary.

We can confirm that our technical teams are working as quickly as possible to resolve the issue so that it is not repeated for any future matches.

We are in discussions with the relevant team with regards to the compensation and will get back to all the customers at the earliest."

I saw you standing up you naughty boy  Some of 'us' are a funny lot Dan. I recall the time I sat in the East stand in front of two women who spent the whole game slagging off a young Tim Sherwood. I seem to recall he did ok in his career. I moved to my current seat a few years ago because I was fed up with the constant abuse aimed at John Eustace, while in the Prem season it was Damian Francis who was the target from day one from the seats behind me.

Do all teams have these 'fans' I wonder?
