To attacking for Moyes. Especially away from home, it's all about standing off and trying to scrape a result.
Think it's safe to say Kagawa will be gone in January. Can't remember the last time I saw such a talentless Utd midfield.
I think that's always the problem when you take over a team that won the league last season. If the team underperformed then the players feel they have to prove themselves to the manager, but our team performed superbly last season, and I reckon some of the players are waiting for the manager to prove himself to them. In fact it's a perennial problem with any title winning side - like I've said before SAF and Paisley are the only managers in England in the last 70 years or so to actually improve on a title winning side. Most managers can't even defend the title - outside those two I think Mourinho and Joe ***an are the only managers to retain the league title and of those ***an was the only one to do it in his first season, and to face decent competition. History has shown time and time again that Moyes has the hardest job in football this season.
Our midfield has been **** for a few years now and it upsets the balance of our team. No creativity for the forwards and no protection for the defence. Moyes at least tried to strengthen our midfield. Sir Alex refused to.
This. Moyes has been screwed by those in charge of the transfer negotiations. The same with the young lad who just scored, by all accounts his contract discussions have stalled. This boy is going to be a mega star within a few years so those in charge of contracts and transfers etc need to pull their heads out of their arses and give the lad what he wants
