Normally, after scoring so early teams would now sit back for 25 minutes and try and defend this 1-0 lead knowing that United will try everything to get a goal back and they get deeper and deeper before finally letting one it and confidence would drop allowing United to push on and win.

However, I think teams now know United are beatable and this will hopefully means teams aren't scared to keep pushing on and try and make it 2-0

Great header from Sunderland, but awesome save from De Gea.

Why didn't Johnson roll that back on the floor!

He chipped it back to the player so it bounced right at his foot <doh>

What is the point of loaning players out, like Borini, if they never get any match-time there either?

2 good finishes by Januzaj. Like in Sunderland's game against us they have played well but their lack of quality has shined through. Not much goals in the team, a poor defence plus a midfield with no creativity or ability.

Exactly, we should be recalling him but we won't because we've probably forgotten or not bothered to put that clause in there. I'd rather see him playing in the championship getting 90 mins every week than being at a premier league club and getting no games.

I suppose, at least, we don't have to pay his wages.
