It's been fine for the first couple of years (apart from Virgin neglecting to mention when they're doing maintenance...) but it's been appalling since the weekend - and widespread, as their forums are filled with people from Essex, Middlesex and Surrey with the same problem. In short, they ****ed up an upgrade to their cables somewhere.
Look at you lot with your fancy cables! im out in the sticks, fastest I can get is 2.5MB. Although I have a 3 mobile 3g sim. unlimited data and sometimes get 10MB . hopefully 4g will be up here soon!
I live in the arsehole of Wales, very picturesque, but absolutely appalling for internet, we get 2.5Mbph on a good day, but its much worse midday etc. Which is a pain in the arse when your living in the same house as 4 other guys in Uni. You know, research and that stuff...
Championship striker, decent quality, signed from Carlisle where he got a few goals. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-south-yorkshire-24398799 Another with more money than sense.
In the 2012-13 season he made 35 appearances for the Owls scoring four goals Luke has your standards dropped? 4 in 35, decent!
So hes no Lee Bowyer who had a court case and then performed like a man possessed!......although that probably never sent out the right message .....'get in trouble with the law and become a better footballer'!
Its not just their cables and customer service I have problems with, their routers are dogshite as well in terms of range in my experience. I'm in a student house ATM so we're not on the greatest deal obviously but we don't have the bog standard router, not that you'd think it though from the coverage we get. We should really have switched by now but we signed a 2 year deal at the start of the tenancy....you live and learn I guess.
I've got a couple of weeks of the minefield that is Japanese keyboards in internet cafes ahead of me (pressing shift at the wrong moment means there's random bits of kanji in English words) - plus, unless you're in one of the places where people occasionally die of starvation after long sessions online (which require passport and contact numbers to use - I'm not joking, I used one a couple of years ago), some of the places have slow connection.
Oh God I've heard about the starvation happening sometimes but internet stuff is a religion out East I hear, isn't Starcraft the national sport of South Korea or something crazy like that? I wish you luck with the keyboards, I have enough trouble switching from Mac to PC!
I regret not going to Japan, as I worked for a big Japanese company but left just before I had a chance, to then work for a Singapore company!Made it to Singapore but the only problem I had with internet cafes was if the air con failed!

Villas-Boas seems to have been rather pissed off by Vlad Chiriches' agent's comments about moving to Chelsea if he does well at Spurs. "Obviously the comments are completely disproportionate and out of reality "I have spoken to the player, told the player to speak to the agent and we have acted accordingly. "We consider ourselves a big club. We're not a stepping stone to anybody. "We don't expect Becali to retract himself because it is not part of his character, but it was completely out of proportion the comments that he made." Don't think he'll be welcome at WHL any time soon.
He's right of course but I'm starting to wish AVB would avoid questions at times, he seems to be walking into the headlines the journos want to write. Ideally he'd have just made a brief comment saying that the agent is not helping his player developing a good relationship with his new club's fans and leave it at that.
