I don't think we will get near top 4 lad as it stands. We look devoid of ideas and lack any cutting edge. We need to strengthen in January though who we end up with is anyone's guess.
Obvious aint it? we are only 6 matches into the season and some are all doom and gloom. City are hardly pulling out trees themselves despite a good performance aganst us (mind we were dirt poor in that match). The Chavs also are not firing on all cylinders are they? The teams on form are the Arse, the Spuds and the thick scousers. This will not last. We definitely need new blood and we need some top quality players. We want f**king Woody to get his f**king wallet out (the Glazers' wallet to be more accurate) and rebuild a team worthy of calling itself United and worthy of gracing Old Trafford. A good investment with some world class players will bring more revenue to the club. So it is a win-win for the FFing Glazers.
Why though? You walked the league last year and you've since added a 27 million pound midfielder - surely Moyes can't be that bad??? Arsenal like you, have pretty much maintained their squad, added one quality player and are flying.
I just think we don't have the right players for the system. We don't seem to be playing with any sort of ethos at present. No one let alone moyes knows our best lineup and formation. Out midfield is dross and out defence is old. Only good things at the moment is rooneys form and de gea. Evans looked good last week. I have no issue with a season of mediocrity, I think it will take moyes time but we need some serious improvement and investment in the middle of the park. If we are **** for a while who cares at least it will make tickets easier to get.
Don't think its moyes being bad I think more a case of. Fergie being that good. As to fellani he is not the standard required. Arsenal already had a better midfield, they're players are also playing very well.
You walked the league in 2006, then added a £30m striker and a world class midfielder...was Mourinho that bad? Was Wenger in 2005? Was Ancelotti in 2011? Mancini last season? Or maybe, just maybe, this isn't Football Manager and it's not that easy to walk the league year after year with the same team. Particularly when we have a new manager who will try and do things his own way, rather than just copy the last successful manager our club had - Chelsea have shown what a recipe for long term decline that approach is.
I'm going for a 1-1 prediction. I think Sunderland have enough to get a draw and their 2nd point of the season....
No - being a Liverpool fan isn't why I said it. That is my prediction. Even If I supported Accrington Stanley - I would still predict that
