Now that we're back doing things 'The Liverpool Way', transfer rumours are just that - rumours. Until you see the player standing next to King Kenny and holding up the famous red shirt, it's not a done deal. However, this stuff about Henderson won't go away. I know virtually nothing about him. Can you lot fill me in on what, if anything, is so special about him? Thanks.
I personally think he is a decent midfielder. Composed on the ball, can pick a pass, tons of energy, a bit of pace, and can finish too. Prefers to play in CM but can play on wing, and not scared to get stuck in. I think he will suit the way Kenny plays, high intensity, fast breaks, defending in numbers and closing down quickly.
Well if reports are true we have agreed a fee of 20mil£ for Henderson with N'Gog going to Sunderland as part of the deal Nothing official on the website yet but expect the announcement at some point in the next few days N'Gog Had the pace the finish but not consistent enough shame really
I heard from Sunderland fans that he prefers to play RM (and is better there), but bruce kept playing him CM.
Yeah, he played out of position most of last year due to the injuries in the Sunderland squad. Hope Kenny & Damo know what they are doing!
He's a good player that will get better with age and experience perfect for us to replace some of the dead wood already in the squad.
I only ever really saw him play in the centre, looks like you will pretty much have your wings sorted now, personally I would bring in Nzogbia too, would give you Henderson/Meireles on right, Nzogbia/Maxi on left

I think that when we sign a winger, Dirk Kuyt will be back up for both the RW and striker roles. That just leaves us to sign a 4th striker, and we've been linked with Wickham
What annoys me is that we've just signed a CM/RM, possibly the only position that we didn't think we needed bolstering. Yet we still haven't been linked with a LB, a LW, a HM or a backup striker.
