Are either of those players likely to command fees that we can't possibly turn down? No.

Just stop with the childishness, this is our situation and it's going to take time to get out of. Doesn't matter how long we've been waiting as very little of that time has been spent actually preparing for the future. Its what happens when you have a parasite in charge for so long.

Everyone has their price, as Scum found with Ronaldo & Spurs found with Bale. But at least tying down Ross (probably Byram in the near future) to a further 4 yrs means anyone coming in for them won't be able to just wave a couple of quid at us and expect us to roll over. Byram already had a fairly healthy value given his age and the possiblity for a purchaser to make money on a sell on.

Let's just hope that cum the end of the season, if we're not actually in a promotion play off, we're close enough for Byram to want to stay and see it through to next season.

What's with the attitude? After 42 yrs supporting the club and spending bucket loads on the club, I've a bloody right to be impatient.

Is it only your opinion that counts or that can be right. In two hours youve used the words bollox and childish in replies. Forums are about different opinions, thats all they are. None of us know jack **** but I certainly dont look down on anyone else here and that included the recently departed Clive

Correct Bobbers which proves my point, contracts are worthless towards keeping players. Youre also correct about needing to be close to promotion to hold onto these guys. 12th position certainly wont do it. Interesting time yet again in our chequered history eh?

You're the one with the attitude, not seeing things in the context. It's irrelevant how long we've been out of the top flight as very little has been done in that time to make a real go of getting back there, only now are we seeing the owners do something about it. The damage krafty ken did cannot be underestimated, he sold all our best players and it will take time to replace them, unless you have a few million laying around?

I certainly don't. Things are finally being done right and all anybody can do is moan moan moan.

Your opinion seems to be that because we haven't splooged a load of money we don't have on players that may or may not work out or even be good enough to get us up, then not enough is being done to get us back to the top flight, which we only aren't in because we splooged a load of money we didn't have on players that weren't good enough. You also failed to consider that the last 8 years have been effectively wasted by somebody who is no longer in charge so we're not in a position to be questioning the progress that has been made. If you really look at it, plenty of progress has been made.

You're acting like a child so I will speak to you as if you are one.

So having a different opinion to you constitutes moaning.
I've not got an attitude. You're the one being snotty and aggressive towards your fellow Leeds supporters, not me. You also seem to think that your views are right and no one elses is. The club has been in freefall since Ridsdale bollox it up.

I was sober when I posted Glory... But I'm about to open my first one of the day...<ale>
Tell you what's going on Glory, why do some posters come across all aggressive when they disagree with peoples opinions. If I'm an obnoxious bollox to people on here then I don't mind being slated, but I'm not. It's ironic that the clubs anthem is marching on together.

I'm like this because something is finally happening that's positive for the club and because it's not been fixed magically overnight its not good enough for some of you, and all you do is piss and moan about it without actually providing any logical argument about how our fortunes could have been better in the last 6 months without breaking league rules.

The chairman, who I'm inclined to trust for the first time in forever because he appears to be a patient man with his head on straight said only the other day that the club is almost financially stable, implying that it hasn't been for some time. That means spunking a load of money on anyone and everyone would have been a massive risk that would likely have resulted in administration, again. But what do I know? I only consider the context of our current situation, I don't consider the irrelevant fact of how long we've been out of the top flight and how that in no way changes our current situation and in no way improves our chances of going up.

The point is not about who is right or wrong. Thats all subjective anyway as I know no more or less than you or anyone else. Our objectives are all the same. The problem is your attitude towards other posters describing , as in my case our opinions as "bollox and childish"l. You judge on what you believe, I've no problem with that. I dont agree with what you believe to be the case but dont feel the need to insult you to get my points across
