Canary Rob

Please don't go. You're a smart guy and I enjoy your posts.

I almost left this forum a while ago. I was tired of arguing with people I've never even met. But at the end of the day we're all here for one reason - to see City thrive.

Oh Erik is just a WUM. I made the mistake of taking him seriously and I am sorry for that. It may have cost us yet another member.

Canary Rob, please do not go, you are the only one at this moment in time that can prevent Guru from winning his relentless campaign! As you know, my wings have been clipped due to my having to reinstate him, I now have to leave dealing with him to others, so please, please stay and aid our fight for justice!

X Factor over Question Time eh Erik? Fair enough

I'm not too proud to admit that I have no ****ing idea what you're talking about.

Oh Erik is just a WUM

I became involved in a debate on a website whose motto is "debate freely". Is that 'wumming'?

It may have cost us yet another member

Who gives a ****? It's a football forum. Let people storm off if they want to. If they get that offended by the internet then they shouldn't be on here.

Right. I've had enough of your consistent lies, misrepresentations, hypocrisy and false pleadings of innocence.

Not once did I accuse you of racism. You have completely invented this. I said you were a bigot- bigoted in your opinion against Norwich City and bigoted in your opinion against Hughton and that no arguments or clear evidence against your opinion would sway you, which is what a bigot does - they hold one opinion despite all the evidence. I even specifically stated that I was NOT saying you were a racist, so you have flat-out lied.

As for your perpetual squeals that I am "abusing" you - well look no further than this thread and posts from WellyBlue, JWM and your own that I have quoted for who the real abusers are.

Really?

I would hope that in the cold light of day both Gandy and Rob would reconsider, both add to the colour and character of this forum in their own unique ways, and Gandy is obviously a top bloke too, it would be a shame to see either of them leave. <ok>

You never quite got it, did you? <laugh>

Dave there is no 'campaign'! You are a top bloke and although we have had our differences in the past I respect you for doing a great job on this forum. There has never been any orchestrated campaign by any Ipswich poster to get you removed from here.

Can I just say thanks Erik for the negative rep, I'm sorry to disappoint you but it doesn't bother me in the slightest, rather, it draws attention to just what you are!

I think Erik still has a lot of growing up to do, and I'd be interested to know what he bases his overriding view that 'people should grow a pair' on. Perhaps he should take the opportunity his youth presents and live abroad in a country where the vast majority of its population is not white for a little while. His views on racism may change.

Knowing what it's like to be ignored, spat at, stared at and spoken about because being 'foreign' you couldn't possibly understand the native tongue, really opens your mind. Telling someone to grow a pair with little or no knowledge of what experiences they may have had is at best arrogant.

Having an opinion is fine, but that opinion needs to be based on something, at the moment I can't see what experience Erik has to espouse such thoughts. It's one of the problems with integration, if the indigenous (and in the UK that's a very loose term) don't accept second or third generation ethnicities as being 'British' purely because of the colour of their skin, there will always be resentment from those communities.

I hope my son never has the misfortune to meet anyone with Erik's views, life's hard enough as it is.

<doh> ah yes - it's a town in yorkshire - with a beautiful sporting venue actually - but i shall not repeat it on here.

Yes, Daniel, I am from the lovely wee town of Beverley. It's full of Southerners these days (largely middle-class folk fleeing London, etc, as a result of 'white flight').

There's not much here apart from a racecourse and a church, but it's my town. It's a bit like a little Norwich, actually, though sans farmers and inbreeding

If you look through my posts again, you'll also see that I point out that Sikhs, Hindus, Buddhists, Chinese, etc, all live in Britain without issue. It's only blacks and Muslims who don't. Why is that?
