I think that's his point, isn't it? Winning the League Cup often leads to a bad drop in form which has proved fatal for those in a relegation battle. We actually did do significantly worse with Ramos after we won the League Cup. When Jol was sacked he had 1 win in 10(or something like that) and Ramos was doing very well at the time of the Carling cup. Anyway, I agree it can be a positive thing, because it should be a good thing you just have to make sure your players don't get carried away. Our players seemed to go on a 3 month long bender to celebrate last time. Had 'Arry won it with us the following year I think the celebrations would've been a bit more muted and I'm sure he'd have made sure they didn't spend their time celebrating in clubs.

I object to the Swansea emblem. Swans can be very aggressive and have been known to break people's arms with one blow of their wings. They also tend to hiss a lot. It's not a responsible image for the 21st century. I am also offended by the Sheffield Utd emblem. Knife crime is rife and is not helped by football clubs irresponsibly displaying two large crossed swords on their badge. Can you imagine the bloodshed if children tried to re-create this badge from things found in the home? I also believe that the emblems of Wolverhampton Wanderers, Hull City, Derby County, Aston Villa, Chelsea, Sunderland and many others should be banned. Fierce creatures - even mythical ones - have no place in the modern game given its appeal now to women, children and the elderly. Having a rabid wolf staring at you from the centre of a club badge is not big and it's not clever.
