Not sure what the hell to make of this game, the ref certainly is a talking point, but St Gallen are certainly up for this fixture, and we are huffing and puffing again,Tiendalli needs to up his game, hope we can raise our game second half, as we are far too slow, allowing St Gallen to get in our faces!...........
Yeah you gotta take your hats off to St Gallen. They came to win and their high pressure really has paid off. Hopefully they'll start to sit back a bit. They were already started to defend lower in the last 10 min of 1st half
He's never particularly fussed about who does his work. I'd get him off and bring on Shelvey - providing he doesn't react to some of the challenges flying in.
According to Wikipedia, tonight's **** stain of a ref Duarte Gomes has been suspended from international matches due to "unprofessionalism" as of 31,07,2013 <<< Well, that doesn't bode well does it? I sometimes forget just how bad refs can be in euro games...
That was a really bad start for Swansea. didn't seem like Swansea turned up for the match mentally and against a St. Gallen who is going into the match totally unimpressed. At the beginning of the game St. Gallen just played better than Swansea. Then came the penalty, which was a correct call i think and Tremmel is the only one keeping Swansea in the game. St. Gallen also has another great opportunity where the attacker threw the chance away. Tremmel did come out of the goal in that situation quite well although The Swansea defence is really bad. The referee then ****es up badly with the Michu case. Later in the game Swansea got better and we must hope Laudrup have made the mental work with the team so they come out to the second half and actually plays football. Pozuelo did have some nice actions late in second half so think Michu and Pozuelo have fought for the game so far and the rest have to get it together... Strange match so far and sad way Swansea mentally turned up for the match.
