As our board is quiet, I thought i would do a thread for a change, now, i see he's getting a lot of stick from some of our '' fans'' and the press for his style of play which is harsh in my opinion because he's only been with us for 3 months, he wasn't going to develope a winning mentality at United straight away it takes time. Also a minority of our '' fans'' want him, which is ridicolus given the fact that the season is only 6 games in, there's too much short-ism from fans and boards these days, they panic and sack a manager after 2 defeats. I#ll be honest, Moyes wasn't my 1st choice but he's our manager now and he's got my support.
Matth, you seem to have had a look at an on going thread about Moyes and just started you own. Why? You could have just joined that thread if you want to show your support (again). Maybe added some content, some insight? Is this too much to ask? I, personally, happen to quite enjoy discussing football in a serious/semi serious manner instead of just pointless, empty soundbites ripped from the press. Wish you'd stop seeking attention. I'm not a wum mate, I just don't think Moyes will do anything other than make you lot average, but who's to know eh only time will tell and according to most he will get plenty of time. Which is probably true but I was asking what you would personally want as a fan who has never known the club to finish below third. If you finished sixth and could get Klopp or someone of that ilk, what would you want?
