Probably already been done before but was wondering what the best XI would be since 2000, Mine:

    ------------------Krul---------------
    Solano--Woodgate-Colo-Bernard
    ----------Speed-----Lee----------
    ---------------Cabaye------------
    Ben Arfa------------------Robert
    --------------Shearer-------------

Remember theres no right or wrong answers so only constructive criticism<laugh>

I wanted him in and there was no where else, besides we hardly have a great collection of RB's

    ------------------Given---------------
    Hughes--Woodgate-Colo-Enrique

    -----------Speed---Cabaye--------------
    Solano--------------------------Robert
    --------------Shearer---Ba----------

Dropped Ben Arfa as I simply prefer Solano and see his as more consistent and dropped Lee as although he was ace his best years were in the 90's. Hughes controversial but I liked him. Also not having Given in goal is just odd imo.

    -------------------Given (yes, still)------
    ---Hughes-----Woodgate---Distin(i know he was LB)---Bernard
    ----------------Speed--------Lee----------------------------
    ---------Solano-------------------Robert-------------------
    ----------------Shearer----Bellamy--------------------

sure we had that team at some point to be honest, special mentions for an in-form Dyer, Nolan and Barton respectively.
None of the players that finished 5th are worth in my opinion and even those after...

I'd want Bellamy in there somewhere. I was thinking about combining Robson's team with the current one only last week. Not too many player in between the two tho? Nolan? Danny Guthrie, Mark Viduka :p

    oh yes, Demba BA. beast!!!

    Given
    Raylor
    Enrique
    Woodgate
    Colo
    Speed
    Dyer
    Solano
    Robert
    Shearer
    Ba

I did consider Hughes but he never played consistently or had a consistent role and Raylor hasn't been much better. The Griff was consistent mind. A brutal man.

    Krill
    Hughes
    Colo
    Woodgate
    Bernard
    Speed
    Dyer
    Solano
    Robert
    Shearer
    Bellamy

Never a big fan of given didn't command the box enough for me ,krul may flap a couple of times but least he isn't rooted to his line ,krul collects more than he flaps at, and dyer on his day was a good player ,and Bellamy I wish we still had him now works his b#####ks off and obviously a good player with it and he'd have a good whinge at some of these we've got playing for us at the minute

Given (Still the best we've had)
Hughes (No Cafu by any means but he was steady and bossed a winger or 2)
Woodgate (Cursed, but his early career was astounding)
Distin (on loan but proved to be one of the leagues greatest imports)
Bernard (Robert made him work hard but he rose to the occasion)
Nobby (tracked back, bundles of energy and whipped in superb crosses & great set plays. There's a Croat called Dario Srna... his clone <laugh>)
Bowyer (we never saw his best but he was a player and then some)
Speed (Where else will you find a midfielder with a left foot and a head? ;))
Emre (injury prone like a crash test dummy but his technical ability was admirable)
Robert (Couldn't defend, should of been a wide forward or second striker, great player though)
Shearer (The greatest ever number 9)

Kieron Dyer is believed to regret his youthful poor attitude in hindsight to his career.
