You can take the bottler out of Spurs but you can take the bottling out of the bottler.

City 1-0 down to Bayern - Ribery scoring from 25 yards.

Hart a bit suspect again... after his performance yesterday (and plenty of games before) surely Fraser Foster should get a chance ahead of him for England.

Hart will never be dropped by England. He's considered a big name now; we all know big names start for England regardless of form.

    Captain Hodgson shall prevail <ok>

I would start Hart ahead of Ruddy or Foster, regardless of form. If England had a decent second choice keeper then you might have a point but there's no one that is good enough to replace him, even if he is suffering a dip in form.

  11. Its not about whether or not we have a second choice keeper, it is about making sure Hart thinks he has competition for his place to keep him on his toes.

That was appalling goal-keeping. He seems to have gone completely to pieces.

Meanwhile, united had ONE shot on target last night <laugh>

Regardless of Harts hapless goal keeping..
If the English teams think they've got a chance of winning the CL, they're in for a surprise!
Pep appears to be on the way of blending the flair of his Barca teams but with typical ruthless German efficiency.

No ones defended the CL (in it's current format) yet have they? Wouldn't put it past this Bayern team to be the first to do so.
