Unless there is some specific reason due to the way Barnsley line up or we have injuries, then agreed........same again!!
5 ball players in the middle should be able to prise open any defence in this league, so no change.....
Why only 5...Bayern are playing 6...(see other thread)....drop that useless centreforward and bring on another central midfielder may I suggest SWP!.... Wait we could drop the two centre backs (who needs defence if we can attack)...but we will keep the full backs (they play as sort of wing central midfielders too) Lets play Green and 10 CMs (have we got 10...I know harry loaded us with midfielders...but has he done enough) No before anyone asks I am not drunk...just listening to the Bayern masterclass on Radio5 live
I maintain that Muller is a forward!! He may be playing deep but he's not a midfield player.[/QUOTE] Muller reminds me of Rooney. An out and out number 10 who is versatile and good enough to play at the point of a midfield 4 or 5

Hoilett in for Carroll Faurlin where Carroll played. Kranjcar where Faurlin played and Hoilett where Kramjcar played. Lovely stuff
--------------------------Green----------------------- Simpson----------Dunne------------Hill-------------BOE -------------------------Faurlin----------------------- O'Neill-------------Barton--------Kranjcar-------Hoilett -------------------------Austin----------------------- Like it.
Same as last week I'd imagine Hoillet + M.Phillips are probably fit enough to start though, plus Chevanton is probably confident after the spurs reserves game. Our bench is starting to look very mean...
IMO, Faurlin is not robust or mobile enough to play as a DCM. I know I'll get shot down for that but that's my opinion. If Henry was sitting there, it would protect the back four against a quick counter and allow the other 5 to go and win us the match. We might get away with it against Barnsley but not against better teams.
Having a more conservative outlook, I would have Henry in front of the back four and tell the other 5 to go for it a 4-1-4-1 formation as above. With Faulin there Barton and ONeill will constantly be looking back. But probably against Barnsley I hope Faurlin can cope....
I agree. Henry would start every away game and some more difficult home games for me. Mind you, before his injury, Ale was the top tackler in the league. He can tackle alright and he's good in the air!
Yep so do i col & that team would turn most over in the championship, would like to see chevanton given some time if we are winning comfortably.
