Welcome returnofthesweatband and Trypsin-1, our first Raiders fan. Back in the 80's if we'd had the net, the Raiders would have had the most support more than likely. Raiders gear was almost as popular as Katherine Hamnett's Choose life et al T shirts.

Gosh, I wish I could go back sometimes, the 80's were such fun, if you could forget about Thatcher all the while of course!

And Tampa still played in Orange, happy days indeed.

The one and only Tampa Bay Buccaneers, alright I know that not everyone will agree but they have had the great Ronde Barber, Mike Alstott and Derrick Brooks and all 3 of those players won SuperBowl rings for Tampa and only played for Tampa.

After tonight's epic match at Wembley, I have given my support to the mighty Minnesota Vikings! I had decided to support them prior to this match, but now that support has been kinda solidified.

    Hey. What's up?

Can't believe how much fun Sunday's match was! It was just such a spectacle, like the FA Cup final times 100. I can't imagine what it must be like in America.

Was watching some of the NFL at the weekend and would like to start following a team.

Can anyone help me pick, initial thoughts are one the following:

Kansas City Chiefs (I'm a season ticket holder at Exeter Chiefs hence why this may fit - however they play in red and I am a die hard Spurs fan).
Green Bay Packers - from my research a traditional club with decent owners.
Seattle Seahawks - watching some of the highlights they look an entertaining side.
New Orleans Saints - they play in black strip like Exeter Chiefs and I have always wanted to go there.

I'm open to any other suggestions :)

Location wise I'd say go for the Saints as you stated you always wanted to go there. But when it comes to being a Spurs fan, I'd say the Pats spring to mind. Bit similar when it comes to attitude, not as rough as Chelsea, but not as sophisticated as Arsenal, bit in between the Packers and the Seahawks. And they truss up in White and Blue as well, with a hint of red. But that's just me, Dan will probably vilify me over these statements.

Definitely Chiefs! Seahawks are too good, that's boring (probably the best team around), Saints and Packers are really good but less ridiculously good, whereas Chiefs have been crap for years but are now actually looking really good (under competent coaching, who knew Andy Reid could do it), so that'll be a fun story to follow. Plus, they need support, they were by far the least supported team at Wembley so it'd be good for them to get some fans on board.

I'm still undecided think I have narrowed it down to Saints or Chiefs.

Saints because of New Orleans and Chiefs because of the name and they are different.

The red is a massive negative for me though plus with my brother being a Ravens fan could potentially have a Super Bowl final with rival teams whereas that can't happen with Chiefs.

Sounds like a no-brainer then, go with Payton, Brees, Graham and Sproles to the Super Bowl this season.

You gonna have to learn the Who Dat chant though
