    if true it will be a great signing. where would we primarily play him though cb or cm?

    Central Midfield is where he has played for the past few seasons and is where he is strongest.

    £15,000 is ok, as i've said before, it will like signing two players with his versatility and I could see him being a future captain of Saints and possibly an England player which would make what we are paying for him peanuts. He is an investment for the future and we will be getting the best years out of him, hopefully, IF he signs of course.

    That's around the same amount Rasiak and Saga were getting right? Cork is a quality player so I really hope this happens, but we must bear in mind that this is the Mirror we're talking about.

    I just went onto his twitter page and for a split second I saw his profile pic with him standing in St Marys and I thought 'get in'........to then realise he was in England gear <doh>......for that half a second I thought we had signed him

    15k is nothing when you think what players like Lawrence, Kitson and Nugent are on at Pompey. Think 15k and another on top I bet.
