As Dr.Allam has stated, "I cannot afford to run the club by fans' feeling" would the 'No Name Change' committee, with their funds be able to purchase the club. Some posters on here seem uneasy with 'the loan' that he has put into the club, so if he takes away what he has 'loaned' and 'put into the club' from the Premiership Windfall, would the committee be in a position to buy the club. Some posters say he bought the club for a £1, he may sell for a minimal profit. Supporter ownership, like Portsmouth and Luton. The committee would then be able to take the club forward, or backwards, as Hull City AFC.
If he decides to help us, it will be by deciding to continue to call us Hull City, it's our only aim. And in answer to the point raised earlier, this originally started as a campaign against Hull City Tigers and was only switched to Hull Tigers when Assem made that name his stated aim. So none of us are going into this with the intention of coming up with some sort of compromise. We are Hull City, we want to stay Hull City and that's what we'll continue to campaign for.
Why? Some posters on here seem to think that the stance must be Hull City AFC and no compromise. How would you think our owner will react to that stance, although I must admit that the people meeting him will have more sense than to go in with a 'we are not here to compromise, we are here to see you back down' stance. Anyway, we shall see. After all the claims and counterclaims of what was said between Doctor Allam and HCC, I'm sure this meeting will be well documented and transparent.
The stance will not be 'we are here to see you back down', it will simply be some passionate Hull City fans explaining to our great benefactor why the name Hull City is so important to us, in the hope that he realises it's best to stick with it and we can all just go back to supporting our team in these exciting times.
I think the only resolution we need is that the name of the club doesn't change. If he wishes to change the name of the sales company he should be ok to do that but Hull City is Hull City, NOT HULL TIGERS AND NOT HULL CITY TIGERS!
There's a marked & definate difference between negotiation & consultation. From what I have read they are meeting to discuss issues supporters have regarding AA's proposed name change. This doesn't imply either negotiation or consultation.

Sorry if you got the wrong impression. I have no objection to you speculating as long as you understand I won't join in.
Assem Allam has called the meeting. Why not write and ask him if it will be well documented and transparent? I see you still haven't replied to my direct questions. I'll not mention them again as you seem to be ignoring me.
The'll be given out at the game on Saturday, or ex-pats can request them to be sent abroad by emailing [email protected]
And one coming to the Marina! In fact, my first name is clearly visible on one of those envelopes, as well as what looks very much like the first and second letters of my surname. That'll be mine then!
Couldn't you just pick one up on Saturday, I think the postal service was mainly for people rather further away than the Marina.
