Hate to piss on your chips mate but Evans is a better defender than anything you lot have got. The reason our defending is ****e this season is because he's NOT in the side and because Moyes is persisiting with Zidic and Ferdinand. Best potential pairing we have is Evans and Jones. Give them the chance to develop a partnership and make you lot shut the **** up while we're at it.
Evans is good enough, how can we know how the partnership will work without trying it though? Our best defence last season had Evans in it, Jones was used as utility by Ferguson. He needs to be played at CH and given a run as he has all the ability to make a very good centre half.
i hope to god we don't turn Jones into a O'shea type of player, play him at centre-half, not in midfield or right-back.
Actually, I think Caulker and Turner look far better than most other DC combinations going around at the moment! I would not pick Evans ahead of them.
