Morning all from a damp Weston-super-Mare. The humidity is persisting though! Have a good day, I'll see you later, off to my second home shortly!
Morning dave... morning hornets ... second home isn't Rhodes by any chance is it dave? ... oops poor taste I know ... blame dave, he provided the opening... hope that doesn't bu99er up my latte
Fortunately for me all the regulars know my second home is Weston General! I'm back there tomorrow as well, in fact I spend so much time there, perhaps I should regard hospital as home and my classy two-bedroomed house as my second home!
Thanks FF, it's nothing drastic, all the serious stuff was battled and beaten last year, I just have to go regularly now to make sure it keeps going in the right direction!

Ticking away the moments that make up a dull day You fritter and waste the hours in an offhand way. Kicking around on a piece of ground in your home town Waiting for someone or something to show you the way.
Thanks for the caramel latte Ak, of course you can say it's a ****ty day! Your knowledge of colloquial English astonishes me! Well done!
So you run and you run to catch up with the sun but it's sinking Racing around to come up behind you again. The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older, Shorter of breath and one day closer to death.
That song is as old as me. When I was a youngster and we (mum, dad, younger sister and I) used to spend weekends at my uncle and aunt in Norwich I usually fell asleep in the car on the way home. My dad would put "Dark Side of the Moon" on and the alarm clocks in "Time" would always wake me up which my sister found funny!
Lots of music, books and teenage daughter helps me. The writing is not too good, spell check and grammar checker help as well.
Evening all from a dull but warm bandit country. Real mad day in corporate madness and just getting a chance to check out the interweb! Tickets booked for Saturday and Little Miss W_Y and my good self are up the M1 - looking forward to a strong response to the poor display yesterday!
RIP - Tom Clancy. I loved reading his books on long flights to the West Coast and on holidays. I always found it strange that the press never picked up on his story of a jumbo jet being deliberately flown into The Capitol Building years before 9/11....a little far fetched at times, but Jack Ryan and John A. Clarke are brilliant characters.
Morning all from a very muggy Weston-super-Mare, heavy rain forecast for later, probably just as I leave hospital around early lunch time! Have a good day!

The snow on Vaðlaheiði is almost gone but I think we will have more before saturday.
