Aye no wonder the bin-dippers are all over it though, watching potential future Liverpool players on youtube is a like flicking through a ****ing Argos catalogue for them!!!

Tash give up, every thread you post will get hate no matter what. I personally on a lot of levels agree with you and it's pretty obvious what you're trying to say:

We don't hate players for choosing to go to lower clubs instead of us.

You used Blackburn as an example of our tolerance so I will too. If Gervinho decided to go to Blackburn instead of us would I be mad? Yes. Would I be bitter? Yes. Would I hate the player? No. Would he be less of a player in my eyes? No. Would I boo him? No.

Would Liverpool fans do all of the above? Yes. Would arsenal? Yes.

They're used to getting every player under the sun whenever all the time. Now Liverpool and Arsenal are falling dropping from former glory obviously (no matter what they say otherwise) and they're strugging to get players because they're seen as sinking ships. Liverpool more so than Arsenal. So Newcastle fans who are more used to missing out on players recently would be more tolerant of it. <ok>

I know I joked before about Tash being Newcastle's PR manager, but you have to admit, he'd probably do quite a good job - albeit in a somewhat unorthodox fashion.

We are a mid-table team, but not your average mid-table team. We have ambition to push higher each season not just settle for what we have now.

Cracking goal was that. Easily the best PL goal of the Season, but that Rat eating **** Wayne Rooneh will end up getting it because his heads so ****ing heavy he slipped and accidently scored an over head kick against the other Manc tossers...

    Tiote > Rooney.

Doesn't every team not have ambition to push up every season, I'd be extremely concerned if we didn't have ambition to improve.

Some don't, Blackburn etc. They just seem to be content with 10- 16.

Btw why is it 25 per page now?

Yeah well they've got clueless Indians owning them. As for the 25 page thing, not a fan but then its not mine or anyone else on this thread's website.

Many do, but many can't. We're lucky that we had so much success a while ago, because we now have one of the largest stadiums in the UK, one of the largest attendances, one of the largest revenues and one of the largest followings in Britain (with quite a good following in Europe too). Other teams like West Brom, Fulham and Bolton have never had anything like that, so we really do have a unique set of attributes.

Plus, I guess ambition is subjective. For a team which has spent a lot of its existence in the Championship, a high ambition would be secure stability in the top flight. For a team which has been right at the top and been in Europe, the ambitions of stability will never be good enough, and they'll always be higher.

What the "top clubs" fail to recognise when they criticise players for "a lack of ambition" is that some players actually care about being in the starting XI and knowing what their role will be at the club. Why would a midfielder with actual ambition sign for Spurs or City right now and risk getting lost in the shuffle, when instead they could go to a club maybe a few spots down the table (like us!) who can guarantee them a starting spot, and hopefully with that players help move up the table next season?

A lack of ambition is being a top 4 side for 6 years and not winning a single trophy.. <whistle>

Thats just a sign of how tough is at the top, and the cost of moving to the Emirates.

You see boy, that's your problem. You can't take the mildest criticism and lash out like a child with your potty prose.

    Grow up for goodness sake...<ok>

It wasn't mild criticism, it was just a plain insult. Anyway, there was no reason to bump this thread back up, you're just a **** stirring twat.

Goodbye and take your own advice <ok>
