The first week in of October 2013 will go down as the holiest in Swansea City’s history.

Thursday evening sees the Welsh outfit take on St Gallen. Sounds like a team from West Wales, but actually the mighty Gallen are one of the top Clubs in Switzerland – a holy experience at The Liberty is likely.

After a two day retreat the Swans then travel to the south coast of England to take on the real saints – Southampton FC. The Saints are named after their most famous centre forward – Simon Templar.

Templar was one of the top scorers in the 1970’s when the Saints played at the famous Dell. Often called The Dell Boys, Southampton fans inspired one of the most famous comedy TV series in British history

Nowadays the Saints play in St Marys Cathedral and it is apt that Sunday is the day that Swansea City visit. Say your prayers lads –the Swans are coming <laugh>

WARNING: This thread is for FUN and may contain adult themes and photos of scantily clad ladies as the week progresses <ok>

I would like to point out that our very own neveroffsideref, who has just posted above, is in fact a Swans undercover agent who lives near Southampton. He has covertly gathered information for Michael Laudrup over the last six weeks. Saints manager Mauricio Pochettino, who speaks excellent English, will have his hands full ;)

I heard MP is only employing him for work experience and as a decoy for opposing managers....

The problem for the OP is that he will have to do the next match thread if Saints win. Them's the rules..

He's crap at match threads mine are much better. I've got it ready and it'll be on our board on Friday morning. I've been very complimentary too about you lot, any club that has a pie and pint outlets in the ground is all right in my book <whistle>

The Swans are a dangerous bird, protected by her Majesty The Queen. Now with that in mind if you take all three points off us the Pochettino will be sent to the tower. Now if you manage to beat the Bluebirds then it's key to London all round. Oh just remembered their not Bluebirds anymore, their Dragons, so St George can slay the Dragons. :emoticon-0102-bigsm
