The big tax case was a certainty to go against them which would leave the company owing gazillions of pounds . These "facts" were put forth even though HMRC had failed to win a judgement against any company they had previously went after for EBTs These facts were put forth mainly by a pseudo Oirish Pseudo journalists who has since been branded a sectarian bigot due to his obvious hatred towards Rangers and it's fans . Rangers private and confidential tax information was handed to this fellow on a plate and he's been dining on it ever since . Strange that one considering that outwitg the most bigoted of Celtic supporters no **** had ever heard of the guy . So the reason no one would touch Rangers was because it was toxic stock .
