Radiator may have her next run up at Beverley on Saturday as Sir Michael has entered her in the card commencer (1.55) over 7.5 furlongs.

Looking back on Radiator’s maiden it now looks rather hot as the winner (Amazing Maria) effortlessly took a Group 3 at the weekend plus the 9th and 10th home at 'Glorious' Goodwood have won races next time out as well. Hopefully, Saturday will be Radiator’s turn to burn off the opposition!

True SBC,but the second and third have been beaten a combined 15L+ in Class 5 Maidens and the fourth was easily beaten in Class 4 Maiden.

Hard to be too enthusiastic about the form given it was a one horse race at Goodwood and tenuous to link anything behind to the winner given her superiority...she will progress no doubt and may need more time.

Interesting that Stoute's Psychometry had also been well touted due to a fillies mile entry but has was very disappointing lto in a HQ maiden after a decent debut.

Fascinating to see Dawn Approach's unraced full sister among those still standing their ground for the G1 Moyglare at the weekend.

This looks a really informative event given that Tapestry has been supplemented to tackle the uber impressive RA winner Kiyoshi.

Dex, yes, I was somewhat guilty of massaging the figures re Radiator’s debut maiden! It was almost ‘New Labour’ spin doctor-esque! I will change my comments to the view that the form of the participants since has been ‘mixed’ with some good and some not so good efforts recorded.

I wouldn’t be so quick though to write off Psychometry. The one who beat her at Newmarket last week cost a whopping 450,000 guineas and has a Group 1 entry. In fact she looks a typical old boy Gosden slow burner. Plus Psychometry did finish in front of the other 9 fillies in the Newmarket heat.

Agree that Prudent Approach (not the greatest name for a filly) is a fascinating entry. As is Mr O’Brien’s unraced Guerre who I note he has got entered in a Group 3 on the same card.

True Barney, the one that beat Pschometry could be very special and that looked a very good maiden.

Radiator set to have the second outing of her career on Wednesday at Lingfield Park - http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/...ts-news-e-b-f-stallions-maiden-fillies-stakes

It is worth noting though that the race will be run on turf and not, I say not, the old polytrack. Slightly ironic, meanwhile, that Radiator will next grace the track on a day which my mole at the Met (Office not ropolitan Police) is predicting will be a scorcher!

Couple of unknowns amongst the old girls opponents as both the Appleby (cost $220,000) and Gosden (cost 210,000 gns) barns introduce costly newcomers. The Queen, God bless her and save her, and Qatar Racing also have runners but perhaps Radiator’s biggest foe could be the Cumani inmate, Zuwiyah, who was just touched off at Royal Windsor last month.

Unless one of the unraced ones is very special though I would expect Radiator to be too hot for the opposition on Wednesday. And she certainly needs to impress, this time, if that Group 1 entry is too be taken up. Sporting Life currently forecasting 3/1, people.

Very Impressive! Is it a case of she has come on for the run or that the opposition was not up to much? can't wait to find out and my money will likely be on her.

Looks like a decent time considering the ease of victory and the fact that she crossed over to the stand rails. No idea what will be her optimum distance(s) though. Definitely 8-10f will be no problem but not so confident as some about 12f.

It's certainly the family that keeps on giving! There was concern for a while that Hasili's daughters may not prove to be good broodmares, but in the last year or so they have started to produce the goods with Banks Hill producing G1 winner ROMANTICA and now Heat Haze's promising RADIATOR.

Hasili has one foal left to race, a 2yo filly by Oasis Dream named RESPONSIBLE. She's not listed as in training anywhere at the moment but here's hoping she can round Hasili's broodmares career off in the best possible manner.

Of her 9 other foals, 8 made it to the racecourse and 7 of them were winners, 5 at G1 level.

You couldn’t be anything other than impressed by what Radiator did yesterday afternoon at Lingfield and as a result she looks a filly to very much note and more importantly potentially one out of the old top drawer. It’s still very early days but the acceleration she showed hints at her being very, very useful. I see that Sir Michael wasn’t at the track yesterday afternoon and old boy Lord Ted was somewhat non committal about where Radiator goes next but after that performance the entry in the ‘Fillies Mile’ must be given serious, and I do mean serious, contemplation. Meanwhile, next time out, of course, Ryan Moore is likely to be replaced in the saddle by James Doyle.

You can get 25/1 about Radiator and the 2014 1,000 Guineas! Between now and that race there will be a lot worse quotes offered than that let me tell you!

Her performance yesterday gave added credence to looking out for animals entered to run in Listed/Group events when they are still unraced (as was the case with Radiator and what first brought her to my attention). I wouldn’t say look out for every runner entered as such but deffo pay a close eye to those top yards who do so – although of course who is a ‘top yard’ is a very subjective point. The only horse who, as far as I’m aware, falls into this category at the moment is old boy Gosden’s MUNJAZ who was entered in a Listed heat at one point but instead debuted in a maiden where he finished 3rd. No entries at the moment other than the ‘Royal Lodge’.

This probable Jockey change youmention Barney is an example of what puzzled me with regard James Doyles appointment. This beautiful filly has just been denied the services of a top jockey in Ryan Moore and now has only a decent jockey in James Doyle, I cannot see why the Prince would wish to do that.

Flicked through the old ‘Racing Post’ just now and it was reported that earlier in the week James Doyle had his first sit on Radiator prior to riding her in a gallop where she drew clear of the year older, Defendant. It also stated that, all being well, she will contest ‘The Fillies Mile’ at Ascot in 9 days time.

Should Radiator win or perform creditably in Royal Berkshire, next weekend, then I can’t see that 25/1 re her for the 2014 1,000 Guineas still being around. Although interestingly, although 25’s is still readily available for Radiator in that heat, Ladbrokes offer just 12/1! Begs the question...WHAT DO THEY KNOW?!?

Well that report wasn't worth the paper it was printed on! Radiator has now been taken out of the 'Fillies Mile' and it looks like her next race, for which she was entered for over the weekend, will be the Group 3 'Oh So Sharp Stakes', at Newmarket on Friday. James Doyle has already been booked - http://www.sportinglife.com/racing/...ket/racecard/585096/aqlaam-oh-so-sharp-stakes

One more point re Radiator the horse who finished 2nd behind her at Lingers Park, Zawiyah albeit some 15 lengths adrift, ran an absolute corker on Saturday to finish just 2.5 lengths behind the 97 rated Wedding Ring, in receipt of 2 pounds, in the £100,000 Fillies Sales race.

Very disappointing from Radiator today as she never really got into the race. I wonder whether she is a filly that perhaps needs to dominate or at least be up with the leaders. At this stage I will assume that the jockey was riding to instructions holding her back.

Before the race, Channel 4 stated that James Doyle has only managed one winner from his last thirty-two rides at Newmarket (and none this year) so that certainly did not inspire confidence. Add to that his subsequent defeat on Rizeena and punters might well start avoiding his mounts on Saturday.

Stoute's runners are in and out at the moment. I wonder if he has some runny noses.
Did have a first time out winner on Monday though, that filly may turn out to be useful.

Yep, very poor performance from old girl Radiator last Friday who was quite frankly made to look like a ‘tree’ as Miss France quickened past her in blistering style.

I’d be prepared to wager though that this wasn’t the ‘real’ Radiator and would hope that some reason will come to light to explain the bad run.

No idea if she will run again this term but it may be that she is put away and then perhaps re-introduced next term in something like the Fred Darling or Nell Gwyn. Generally, she’s a 33/1 shot for the 2014 1,000 Guineas now although you can get 40’s with those old boy’s at Bet365.

Nobody would have won on Radiator last week. It's ridiculous top talk about the jockey. She didn't fire or she wasn't good enough it's as simple as that.
