Fourteenth is where we sit today A comfortable berth, I´m satisfied so far, but then I don´t demand the earth The signs were there for all to see At Stoke, that things will gel, I´m satisfied that given time The new lads will do well And also those who´re not so new Are moving with the times, I´m satisfied with Hughton too Who's guilty of no crimes Old Carrow Road is looking good Filled to its brimming peak, I´m satisfied in time we´ll see 35k each week And on the bridge sailing the ship Is Captain McNally, I´m satisfied his course won´t waver From safe and steady Part of this league for a third year From seed now to a plant, I´m satisfied with our progress What more could people want And lower down the ladder too At Colney, things look good, I´m satisfied that some lads there Will be our new lifeblood And unlike some who´ve sold their souls To sheikhs from distant lands, I´m satisfied that our club won´t Be sold to foreign hands It´s what helps to make us unique And our success worth more, I´m satisfied in every way And glad for such rapport. OTBC In fact, I´d say there´s much to be satisfied with.
Well said sir, it doesn't take a crystal ball to see that we're making progress, the future is certainly looking bright! Regards to young Rex!
Excellent RBF - and to beat Stoke at the Brittania was BRILLIANT!! Some of our fans need to realise that 'Rome wasn't built in a day' and our team at teh moment is very much 'work in progress'. We can approach our next 2 games with nothing to fear and even if we lose both heavily, I'm more than happy with our points total at present.
So, unlike Mick Jagger, you have satisfaction? But then, so have the rest of us, with one or two exceptions.
Yes, absolutely, and I don´t think it really hurts to have an occasional reminder, lest some should forget just what we do have here.
